" Good night Alexa" "Good night Anna" the speaker responded. The lights around her apartment magically turned off. Only the light by her bed remained on. It was her guide light, so she did not trip over the rugs and furniture, which decorated her apartment. She knew the blind could memorize the maze, but she in the solid dark always stumbled over something.

Her bed felt so comforting and welcoming. Barely asleep she thought she heard Alexa say to her " You need to reset your password." What password she wondered. Her mind seemed to sense her confusion. but she did not awaken. In her dream in front of her was her computer screen, telling her to reset her password. There was a picture of a dirt road leading through a field covered by a red haze. There was no place to enter any information. Then Alexa asked, " Who is your one true love?" Images of people in her life swarmed before her. The flow of pictures settled on a picture of her standing on a mountain, "Very good" Alexa responded, and then returned with "have you ever put anybody before yourself?" Anna felt numb but at peace. The answer was yes. Alexa responded, "You have just reset your password". The image on the screen changed. the heavy fog was gone, and there were letters on a green field. They spelled out "You have endless potential" She felt herself float deeper into a peaceful sleep. Then the letters shifted, spelling " Your time is here" Time for what she wondered feeling a little discomfort in her rest. And then the letter spelled "believe in yourself." The rest of the night her mind was clear and all she did was sleep.

The music was blaring when she awoke. She was sure she had overslept. She went and turned on her computer. She was wondering if her password would need to be reset. She was startled her screen page had changed. The ocean waves that had been there when she went to bed had been replaced with the red fog image from her dream. She signed in and up jumped a picture of the white letters in the green field spelling, "Believe in yourself" Anna stood in shock. Had it not been a dream? Had she actually made these changes on her computer? She did not have time to worry about her mind, she quickly prepared for work. She had Alexa play some music and focused on anything other than white letters.

She arrived at work on time. She said hello to her coworkers. They talked about last night's football game. They had called an ambulance to the field. One of the players had a heart attack in the middle of the game, They had canceled the game. It was far more crucial than a dream. Life and death were much more urgent than mental health. She was still performing her job. She was not going crazy. It was just a dream.

The cantaloupes were all cut. so she went to get the box of green beans. On top of the beans were plastic white letters, spelling the word "potential" For a moment she felt like she had no potential. Amy came in and laughed. " I found these when I came in this morning, are you okay?" Anna smiled "had a dream about white plastic letters last night; it was just strange to see them here" Amy shrugged her off, and commented, "Thought you were going crazy, don't worry you're not". Amy took the white letters.

Anna focused on the onions. She was glad they were onions, the perfect excuse for her watering eyes. She was glad that everybody ignored her for the rest of her shift. She floated off to Jamie's music. He was funny to watch, as he hacked away at the watermelons. By the time she left, she was smiling. She often wondered if she had any potential with Jamie, although according to his best friend he had some addiction problems. She would just settle for enjoying working with him. She wondered what she was going to achieve with all the potential God was telling her she had. The dream must have been a vision and a message. She went out for a meal and a cosmopolitan, Life was not that bad.
