Sarah’s qualification was not enough to become a teacher in schools in the city.

Also, she didn’t like to move to her orphanage as the memories of Jayden were there in the city. She went to the same park where she and Jayden had gone for the last time. She sat on the bench with tears.

Memories of Jayden surrounded her mind. She couldn’t control weeping.

Se didn’t want anyone to look at her. So, she decided to leave the place. Before leaving, a notice under the bench grabbed her attention. She kept it in her bag and left the place soon crying.

After reaching home, she cried for almost an hour. Then she stared out the window trying to control her emotions.

The notice that she took from the park came to her mind. She immediately took and read it.

The notice read the following:

“ WANTED

FEMALE BABYSITTER

TO LOOK AFTER TWO KIDS

AGE: ANYWHERE BETWEEN 20-50

FOR MORE DETAILS

CONTACT: XXXXXXXXXX.”

She immediately contacted the number with a heart full of hope. The opposite party didn’t attend the call. Again disappointment.

She tried again. No response.

Her hope vanished.

In the evening, she again went out in search of jobs. After visiting five shops, she was finally accepted as a sales girl in a grocery shop. The salary was very low yet she accepted it. She was told to join from the next day.

While returning home on a walk, Jayden’s memories surrounded her. She crossed by the streets where she and Jayden had late-night walks. They used to roam the streets at night like owls and enjoy their lives.

While she crossed the road, her phone rang. She decided to call back after reaching home.

She called back the person. A man with a soft voice attended her call. It slightly resembled Jayden’s voice to her.

“I received a call in the afternoon from your number”, said the soft-speaking man.

Sarah told me about the notice. The man asked to come her to his house in the morning.

But Sarah was not in the idea of visiting him as she had got a job.

The next day…

Sarah got ready for her new job and joined. It was not exciting or an interesting job. But she wanted to earn her living and divert herself from the memories of Jayden.

She forgot about the babysitter's notice. She felt comfortable with this job.

Everything was going well for about a week. On the 8th day of her work, she spilled medicine on a customer accidentally. The customer raised a complaint against her. So, she was terminated from her job and thrown out without salary.

Now all she could do was to cry. Returned home sadly. She had to look for jobs again. This made her frustrated.

The babysitter's notice came to her mind. She had no guts to call the man as she didn’t visit him as per his instruction. She decided to visit the house without prior information.

The next day…

She could hardly remember the address told by the man a week ago. So, there was no other way. She had to call him.

She was astonished. The man didn’t complain about her for not visiting his house a week before. He spoke in the same soft tone. She directed her kindly to his house.

The house was very big. It was the first time Sarah was visiting a big house in her life.

The watchman addressed her and she told the details. He called the house owner. And, Sarah was asked to wait in the hall by the watchman.

The house was very clean and tidy. She sat on the sofa. She stared at the house amazingly.

After 15 minutes of waiting, there came a man. She recognized him as the man who spoke to her over the phone.

Thanks for reading till the end. Wait for the next part. There will be the climax. Leave a heart if you like it.
