You held me without carrying me. Through the years, the difficulties and triumphs, you’ve always been there. Taking care of me when no one else would. How can one express that gift given straight from the heart? The selfless choice to bring me to your world. Tending to me even when your patience often wore thin. Building me up, block by block. Words hardly express my gladness you adopted me. Thank you mom, not by blood, but by bond, for everything. Thank you for taking me in.
