It was the day we finally arrived at Pluto.

"Split up and probe, and report back in six hours. " I said to X and A beside me. We put on the helmets on the space suits, the helmets, and the hatch, faint "ding" sound, the helmets and the hatch impact, now a little spark. However, we did not notice. Checked the suits and walked out of the hatch. These suits are a little different - the oxygen tanks on the back of them are adsorption type, no need for cumbersome installation, just suck up and use the oxygen. There is weightlessness in space, and walking is usually light and airy. However, our feet are extra heavy - our body, carrying the fate of all mankind.

In 10000 A.D., water resources reached a precarious point due to the overuse of the earth's resources. Hundreds of billions of human beings were faced with the problem of drinking water. The countries of the world were unprecedentedly united and sent me, X, A, and some other team members to Pluto to search for water resources.

After arriving at Pluto, we locked down several places where we might find water and decided to split up our search.

The suits were heavy, but we didn't hesitate - after all, the mission to save humanity was too good to be true.

From time to time, pieces of a meteorite flew past me, sending out glittering sparks. This is a unique starburst in space.

Several hours passed, and there was still no sign of water in the places I was responsible for. At that moment, I suddenly received two messages in quick succession from A - he had found the water source but was in danger.

I followed the sound of the alarm on A's spacesuit and found him - he was fighting a purple "monster". By the time X and I arrived, he was already down. At that moment, the "monster" suddenly picked up a fragment and threw it at A's helmet. My mind flashed through several ways to warn A, not knowing how to choose - when X suddenly rushed forward, directly in front of A. The cunning "monster" swung his fist as he threw the pieces, and X's spacesuit was pierced. X's suit sounded an alarm, and he shook his head weakly and fell to the ground. "The storage pod ...... exploded ...... oxygen ...... only enough ......3 ...... hours ............ you guys hurry ...... find... ...... water ............ water ...... find... ..." He did not manage to finish the sentence. A and I were in a state of grief and shock. a knew where the water source was, while X and I did not. If A had died, we would have wasted a lot of time. So X, after learning of the lack of resources, gave his life, in exchange for time.

In A's eyes, there was a teardrop that wanted to flow but did not.

In silence, we finally arrived at the location A said, and began to dig, due to fighting with the "monster" and physical exhaustion, I dug. Time passed, and we gradually found that mankind underestimated the difficulty of digging the surface of Pluto. A few hours passed and my oxygen alarm went off. At this point, it was still a little short of success, and A's frail body was not enough to support him in this task. He followed quietly, removed his oxygen tank, and stuck it behind me. I didn't realize this as I buried myself in my work. When I finally confirmed the existence of a water source here, A had collapsed to the ground. I was stunned. In front of my eyes, some crystal drops of water seemed to float up.

I found the water source. However, I always felt that the water smelled like blood.

I was hailed as a hero for "returning triumphantly" in the lifeboat. However, I know that real heroes have already dissolved their souls into the source of life. When the disaster came, it was they, at the cost of their lives, in exchange for the safety of the planet.

When I looked up, there seemed to be two more stars in the sky that were extraordinarily bright.
