"Alexaaaaaaa, I'm bored!" Beelzebub whined.

"Let's send Putin where he desperately wanted to be!"

"Oh, I like that! Give him a body cam."

With Beelzebub's finger snap, Putin found himself in an endless Ukrainian wheat field. Happy to be out of hell, he walked and then ran toward a house on the horizon, darting through exploding field mines left by Russian troops. The house didn't get closer -- the harder Putin ran the farther away it moved. Hours later, he fell on the ground, exhausted and disoriented.

"No fun in that rat race!" Beelzebub snapped Putin back to his hellhole.

100 words exactly before author's notes make it a Drabble.

Author's note: I'm still sick and settling back in the north, so I haven't been active here recently. But I wanted to write something for the Ukrainian Independence Day coming up on August 24 (Monday, when my semester starts) and remembered Raymond Taylor's idea for Putin's next torture. I made it a lot darker, but thank you for the prompt, Raymond!

As a bonus for Ukraine's Independence Day, here's a lecture by Timothy Snyder, the most prominent English-language historian of Ukraine and fascism, titled "What Is Ukraine?"
