100-word Microfiction
At the stroke of midnight, a group of curious teenagers broke into an abandoned mansion on the hill.
They discovered a hidden room filled with treasures. But as they gathered it, a growl blasted their ears, shaking the walls.
They raced outside in panic, looking back in terror. The house transformed into a massive dragon. It spewed flames, lunging at them, blazing with fury.
They ran for their lives, but seconds before it could get them, its curse prevented it from leaving its treasure. Suddently a lucky lightning bolt struck out of nowhere, incinerating the beast and its treasured prison.
