TRAUMA

The whole house was silent,there was pin drop Silence as the news of Baba’s death came in.Mama was in the Market where she does her petty business.

Immediately,words was sent out to bring mama home to announce to her that Baba had died.You know what they say about Bad news travels fast right,Mama had already gotten calls telling her that her husband (Baba)had died.we stood outside waiting to pick her once the rider brought her,when she saw the crowd gathered outside,she knew it was true.

There and then,mama fell to the ground and collapsed,she was rushed to the hospital and was declared dead on arrival.it was a black and traumatizing day for all of us.
