Till death do us together
"A Love Story Beyond Life"& Chapter 1

16 years prior...
The waves crashed hard on the cliffs. Even for them, it was a gloomy day.
An unbreakable enmity lay where the salty air dispersed bitterness, creating an environment as poisonous as smoke after an explosion.
A thirteen-year-old boy, a man, was standing at the balcony, gazing out to sea. His father, bearing a composure that caused his son even more distress, approached from behind.
"Stop pouting; she didn't give a damn about you. Men never allow their feelings to stand in the way of doing what is right.
The child struggled to gather himself as his hands gripped the railings more tightly. He was vicious and had a reputation for being rough and hot-headed for a teenager. Retaliating against his father would undoubtedly result in punishment.
"Now get inside, the funeral's ending."
You would never believe his father cared about the deceased woman based on how quickly he handled the burial, but he did. His kid was so sincerely incensed at himself for allowing this death to occur.
Unbeknownst to him, that day would mark the beginning of his days spent leading hell.
He changed his name to Leonardo De Luca on that day.
Don of the syndicate in Italy.
Now, Leonardo
A last surge of crimson swept over me.
When you're the one who causes death, it might be a serene thing.
For a brief while, I stood soaking up the silence as the crimson light trickled down the metal walls. Even after shooting every man I came across, the walls remained unpainted. I put my revolver inside my handbag and pulled out the terrible burner phone I carried with me everywhere just as my phone started ringing.
There's a pool of blood on the plastic when I click a button.
"You've called me three times now. Dante, somebody had better be fucking dead."
I apologize to your boss, but you're running late for your father's meeting.
He's furious.
"He can wait another 5 minutes, I just blew out the brains of Gerard's crime ring."
I made my way to the exit, and from a distance, I unlocked my car as soon as I emerged into a cool, crisp breeze.
"And your fathers about to blow my brains out if you don't get here." Dante went on.
I slipped onto the dark seats of my black Bugatti Chiron and floored it towards my father's corporate office after hanging up the phone and opening the door.
You would think he would be hesitant to give me control of the business.
He began talking endlessly about his plans as soon as I walked into his office, sounding like a tape recorder. My shoulders stiffened as I sat in the leather chair in front of his desk.
My father was always a pain in the neck, but never frightening. He adjusted his wrinkled face and sipped his cigar into his mouth at the end of his lecture, which I had lost interest in. "The Lawyer is here. My kid is the only person who will receive the hotel shares. De Luca Companies will stick by him. My father testified, his attorney firmly signing documents.
My father was given a sheet of paper to sign by the lawyer. He wrote something on the paper and slid it in my direction.
Silently signing the document, I had amassed a 130 million dollar firm by the time I pushed it back.
Without a word, the middle-aged lawyer quickly left the room. His pallid face gave away that he was spending less than he had previously. A loud accident left my car jolting, and I should have known better than to let my dick drive me.
Breaking through the abrupt ringing in the air, glass broke. My airbags detonated with a pop as I tightened my grasp on the steering wheel.
I left after the smoke cleared. I couldn't have survived the person I collided into because my car's front end was completely destroyed. It's not like I cared either way.
I took out my phone, muttered a curse at my own self, and entered Dante's number. He wouldn't let this go, especially not as I was taking the car to get shit on. He continued to bring up memories of our early years.
As I entered the final number, I heard someone cough loudly in the distance, so I slowly opened my eyes from my phone.
I was surrounded by smoke, fog, and darkness, yet I could make out a man emerging from the mist. I hoped, corpse.
The automobile behind it lay on its side, completely smashed from the back. Nobody could possibly escape without suffering harm or possibly dying.
My eyes squinted as the image became more recognizable and a woman emerged from the cloud.
"Are you crazy? She turned and came towards me. She walked over to me, and I glared at her icily. As if she had never been in a car accident. "I could have died," she said as she came to a stop in front of me, her eyes irritated but not furious. She stopped, realizing I wasn't paying attention to anything she was saying. "That was my brother's car, he's going to kill me when he finds out its been crashed and not even by me, by some motherfucker going 100 miles per- Hello?!
I took her hand in mine after she annoyed me by snapping her fingers. Her lips split open. "Are you going to kill me?"
I gave her a cold, indifferent look while holding her shaking hand and then threw it aside. I then made my way to the wreck where my automobile had been.
There was my second gun in there. Although I wasn't planning to trick her, I could always utilize a fallback. I attempted to pry open the glove box by reaching into the ripped door, but I stopped when I heard footsteps behind me.
Are you silent? I posed a query to you. Even ignoring me when I speak to you is worse than making me miss my flight. "Will you fucking shut up?" I ask you. Finally, I threw up, turning to tower over her. Her mouth provided me with more than enough cause to resist the impulse to just make her drop dead. "Take some goddamn money and get out here before I have other plans for you"
As she peered at me, examining my face and completely unfazed by anything I said, I took out my wallet. She flinched as her touch went over the wound on her forehead.
"How do you want me to use my money? We're in the middle of nowhere, what gives?"
She snorted out loud. "This isn't fucking Aladdin." She crossed her arms in a growing rage. "I'm getting married in 2 days and 16 hours and I need to get on that flight!"
"Build yourself something useful."
Who the hell was this woman, Jesus? She reminded me of someone, I suppose, but not of someone as fucking obnoxious as her.
When I disregarded her once more, she violently flipped a strand of hair away from her face.
As she opened her mouth to speak, I turned away. She had too loud of a voice to be a prostitute, but I wasn't willing to suffer with this headache in the hopes that someone would pick her up.
She uttered a startled murmur. Her footsteps, much to my dismay, followed. "Who do you think you are?!"
"Try and find out."
Yes, I am already aware. A conceited, haughty asshole."
I came to a stop and met her eyes, her heavy breaths filling the silence. "You'll see how much of an Asshole I can be."
"I will when I make the rest of your trip miserable."
My chest burned with heat. "Who says you're coming with me." I do."
With each step, her backpack rustled as she stomped closer to me. She put on a small smile and straightened her back, but I was more interested in the sound of an engine approaching.
When I stuck my arm out, she never lost her expression until the car stopped.
A bus. My expression became more flat. The last place I wanted to be close to was a bus, but because it would take an hour for someone to get me a new automobile, this was my best option. I continued, thinking that Loudmouth would choose to stop, but she stepped on me from behind.
Half of the regulars in the coach were sheep. Avoid the remainder Until I took a seat in an empty chair, no one was looking in my direction when I first stepped in. Fuck, it had a roadkill and dusty stench.
The situation was exacerbated when the loudmouth chose to sit next to me and put her rucksack on her lap. "Guess your stuck with me for the next 2 hours." Pulling out her iPod and plugging in her earphones, she pondered.
This was going to be one hell of a trip.
