Three moons. That’s what I see when I open my eyes. That’s not right. Trying to sit up, I feel the heaviness of gravity pulling me back down. That’s not right either.
My head feels fuzzy as I try to remember what happened to me. My name is Paisley, I remember that, so I haven’t lost all my memory.
Getting to my feet is a challenge. A tunnel full of light. Memory bursts through me and I stumble. Right into someone.
Verdant scaled hands reach out to steady me. “What the hell are you?” he hisses. Definitely not right.
