She painted a smile on her face, concealing her bruises beneath layers of makeup. The cycle of torment continued behind closed doors. His words sliced through her like shards of glass, leaving her shattered. The bruises on her body mirrored the scars on her soul. Fear held her captive, whispering lies of worthlessness. But within the depths of her pain, a flicker of strength emerged. She mustered the courage to break free from the chains that bound her. With each step toward liberation, her spirit rekindled, illuminating the path to a life where love no longer came with bruises.
