Addiction of Uncontrolled Theme Park Attending

Bob’s final sales contract was signed, and his trip home was just hours away. He called Shirley with the news.

“They didn’t even want to negotiate the price this time. I’m coming home," with a quiver in his voice.

“Why are you so excited?” she asked.

“Remember, I was thinking about retiring and I’ve decided it’s time. You know what this means…Disney World every day!”

Bob had watched his dad retire early and enjoy spending his waking moments at the local theme park. He would be in the park by dawn and stay until dinnertime. Some days were filled with rides and shows and others just sitting and watching the crowd.

Bob planned years ahead to put himself and family in a position to do the same thing. He invested in rental properties as a source of additional income and expertly rode the stock market game successfully. His net worth exceeded a few million dollars when he made his move to join the mouse-eared brethren on the Florida campus. He may not go every day, but his hours of fun will last well into the night.

Three years have now passed and as he promised himself, from about 2 p.m. until after the midnight fireworks Bob is either in line for a ride, a show or something to eat. Some call it an addition but not those who wait in long lines every day to fill their lives with fun.
