In continuation, as Alice's parents were heading back, they boarded a general vehicle that would convey them back. At the same time, the younger brother of her dad and his wife entered their car to convey them back to Sidney.

As the journey went on, Alice's parents stopped along the way to get some things Alice could need in school For a balanced study life.

Some minutes passed when their parents of Alice received a call from the corps, and they informed them that his brother and his wife had had ghastly accidents, and the wounds on them were terrible.

Suddenly, the joy of wanting to see Alice went off, and they were both in a state of trauma and bothered about the next step to take. After thinking of the next thing to do, Alice's father decided to go meet his brother at the hospital while his wife went to visit Alice.

A few hours later, they both arrived at their destination; Charles was with his brother and his wife in the hospital, and Alina was at home with his daughter.

After several treatments upon treatments, Charles's brother’s wife was concluded to have ended up with broken arms, which will take her a while to use her arms well, and the husband too, with broken legs, which will also take him a time to walk with his feet.

Meanwhile, during the weekend when Alina was home, Alice noticed that her mom was somehow moody for some days, even though she hardly ate once a day.

On Sunday evening, Alice told her mom, Can I have a private talk with you? Her mom replied, "Yes, you can. Mom, just a few days after you get back, I have noticed some slight changes in you; you have not been eating well or cracking jokes with me. Like Mom, I don’t understand these sudden changes. Her mom told her there was not much; she just had some slight thoughts that weighed on her now. But now is gone she would return back to her original. She also asked when Dad was going to be; she said hopefully next week, but you won’t be at home to see him. Alice said he would miss both of them, so the conversation ended.

Some days later, Charles's brother and his wife were brought back home, and Charles thought of getting house help for his brother and his wife. So he concluded that he should get a housekeeper named Josephine who stays near his brother’s house.

Meanwhile, Josephine and Alice were close friends in school, but Charles didn’t know because Alice's parents were not willing to disclose the matter to her, so that would not affect her or discourage her.

Alice has always been known for her willingness to show up in tough times. Her parents knew if she heard this, she might decide to suspend going to the university and face her academics. She has always had a passion for souls, the weaklings, and the depressed to speak words that will make them gather strength once again.

So the day Alice was going to the university, her mom followed her, took her to school, and she resumed school fully. She also got a temporary apartment in which she could stay at the university. After that, her mom went back home.
