A Nightcafe Creation By The Author
He knew where he was going, and he knew there was a bed for him when he got there; they had promised him that, but it was a long road, and he was on foot.
He picked up food and drink along the way from helpful, kind people as he walked the road, and then one day in the distance he saw something that was not on the maps, and he looked back and the road was gone in a black fog.
What he saw was a giant wall, too tall to climb, with no way past.
He was lost....
