The Uglies

Before you say anything... no I didn't read the book. Two, I saw the movie and looked up that there's a series ( I'll go and read it when I get paid again to buy it ). So anywho, the movie 'Uglies' appeared on Netflix. It came out in 2024. The story begins about a girl name Tally wass waiting til her 16th birthday to go and get surgery while she was waiting her friend got it and didn't respond to her once he got his . ( He's a bird anyway so fuck him ) She was where she wanted to look deep into it and got a costume to cover her identity until she got caught and almost got into trouble. So when it finally became her birthday all and everyone went and got theirs while she got placed back into having one because they needed her to be a spy to get Shay ( Shay basically was the one telling her she don't need all that and she need to go into the Smoke with her and run away with her from " The Pretties " and their lies. ... Tally ugly ass wasn't trying to hear that . )

So when Tally was on her spy mode ( locking in and whatever ) she was looking for Shay and was finding everyway possible to get her to come back ad Shay was like hell nah. To where threw me off is Tally wasn't the person that was on some snake shit and I hate that so much so so much. She did all that work with everyone , then finally got fresh with the leader of the Smoke's son and then toss the fucking necklace in the fire and had the Leader of Smoke killed cause they didn't want to be a ' Pretti'. ( I don't blame them cause why the fuck I wanna turn into a Megan 2.0 ) So then after all that of getting taken and having everyone in harms way she finally surrendered and became a 'Pretti' and I'm like an for what?

My take is that it was cool ,but I really don't like the fact that her headass had put them people all through that shit just for her to change her mind to try and go save Shay and then Shay became a 'Pretti' ( against her own will by the way and looking like Twilight ass character aka Jasper headass ) and then suddenly change her mind so people don't get hurt? Man after all that I wanted to go read the book cause I felt like here was alot of stuff missing. Alot of stuff missing. If you're up to it, go look at on Netlifx while it's still on there...

I give it a 6 out 10. Should be a -6 cause fuck Tally and her ugly ass.
