The Ocean

The waves easily hide what's beneath...

As Ron stood at the shore looking at the ocean in front of him. Waves were flowing back and forth. Some so ferocious, they slammed against the high rocks on the side of the shore.

The waves were going back and forth like they would never stop. Each wave looked like it would shatter the rocks but every time a wave battered with the rocks, the water rolled down the rocks.

The rocks also looked determined to not break under the battering of the waves. Though watching the waves going back and forth was looking like a fantasy, at the same time Ron began to think how strong the rocks are. And as the water flowed back down the rocks surface, the water was so fast, you could barely see it running down.

Standing on the shore Ron began to wonder about the life under the waves. How they must be going about their routine as the waves splash around swirling and playing their own rhymes.

Then over the horizon Ron saw a silhouette standing tall and wondered if it was the God of the Sea and just then all of a sudden the sky became dark and what Ron saw, he was sure it was a dream.

Ron knew this is no reality, but as soon as the whale leapt out and went back into the deep waters, the waves calmed down. The silhouette disappeared. It seemed as the silhouette came to let the whale leap out and calm the waves.

As the waves calmed down, the waters were shinning blue with the sun rays falling on them like a golden blanket enchanting the waters. The water was so clear, he could see the rainbow coral at the bottom of the waters. He could see faint shadows of fishes swimming by and realized they were there even when the waves were tormenting the surface and they are there even when the waters are shallow.

During the day at work Ron had a dispute with his manager and then on his way back he got into a fight with a car owner for a parking. Frustrated he took a drive to the beach. Now he was calm and realized everyday our life is no different to then these waves, but at the end of the day being able to be calm in the comfort of your home is the best thing one can ask for.
