Welcome to The Obsidian Oasis.

You received this manual because you are a Resident. A Resident can be classified as any of the following:

A member of another Oasis who is permanently moving to Obsidian

A citizen of the Obsidian Oasis that is returning from another Oasis

A fugitive of the Obsidian Oasis

A Rouge

If you are not a Resident, please inform the nearest Helping Hand immediately and you will be escorted back to your home.

Any attempts to lie to the Helping Hands will be met with extreme force and possible Removal.

We welcome you with open arms! The Obsidian Oasis is open to all! But you must follow the rules outlined in this manual in order to remain a citizen.

The Obsidian Oasis History

The Obsidian Oasis is 1 of 35 Oasis around the world. We were the third Oasis to ever be built! As you know, the world became uninhabitable many years ago and the Obsidian Oasis was built in one of the few locations that are not classified as a desert. The land outside is still covered in the same sand as the rest of the world, but the temperature never rises above a cool 95 degrees Fahrenheit. The foundation of our world was built on obsidian, which is where we get out namesake. Our citizens are protected by the same artificial dome that covers 32 Oasis. We are the world center of workers and provide people to other Oasis. We truly are one of the best Oasis in the world!

Rule of the Obsidian Oasis

1. No personal belongings

We at the Obsidian Oasis pride ourselves on our uniformity. When our citizens are auctioned for jobs, the other Oasis are looking for the least unique person possible. Objects such as books, bags, hats, heart-shaped lockets, personalized bracelets, and any other non-conforming item shall be removed and given to the nearest Helping Hand. If you are wearing any clothing that is not the Offical Uniform of the Oasis, remove it and hand it to the nearest Helping Hand. A uniform will be provided for you.

Any persons found with personal items outside of the Residency Agency will be subject to Removal.

2. No Creating

While the Oasis Conglomerate prides itself on the creations of its citizens, the Obsidian Oasis is no place for that. Here, you will learn to be the perfect worker. Creating includes: drawing, writing (outside of designated exams), inventing, building, designing, or any other work that is not uniform with the rest of the Obsidian Oasis.

Any persons found creating will be subject to Removal.

3. Curfew Must Be Followed

The Obsidian Oasis has a strict curfew at 8pm. No citizens may be out of their sleeping pods from 8pm-5am.

Any persons found out of their sleeping pods past curfew will be subject to Removal.

4. No Inappropriate Questions

The citizens of the Obsidian Oasis will learn everything necessary to obtain a job in any of the 35 Oasis. There shall be no questions unless it is for clarification purposes.

5. Do Not Violate the Helping Hands

The Helping Hands are located throughout the Obsidian Oasis and are there to help. There shall be no damage inflicted upon them and no citizen may touch them unless instructed to do so.

Any persons seen violating the Helping Hands will be subject to Removal.

6. Learn As Much As Possible

While our rules are strict, the Obsidian Oasis provides good education to Oasis citizens and helps provide them well-paying jobs. Our education is free so take advantage!

Instructions

Remove all personal belonging and give them to the nearest Helping Hand. If needed, they will provide you an Oasis uniform. Continue forward into the next chamber for Memory Wipe. (All important memories will remain such as your name and information in this manual) Once your memory is wiped a Helping Hand will lead you to your Residence.
