The Mythical serpent Next to Me: A Test of Viewpoint

Challenge Accepted

The musical bang against my back wasn't a heartbeat, not in the human sense. It was a sluggish, intentional beat of force, a contrast to the hysterical pounding of my own. Ignis, the Purplish blue Fierceness, was certainly not a consoling presence. He was a whirlwind in scales, his sapphire conceal getting the blurring daylight like a broke mirror.

We weren't associates, not in the customary sense. I, Elara, was a Dragonrider, the remnant of a withering species. He, they murmured, was a devil, a destroyer. Yet, we were right here, roosted problematically on the disintegrating tower of the fallen lord's palace, the last stronghold against the infringing Scourge.

"They're coming," I grated, the smoke from the consuming city underneath stinging my eyes.

Ignis thundered a low note, a sound both frightening and unusually consoling. "Indeed, little rider. They are drawn by the Curse's melody, the commitment of insensibility."

Little rider. It was a steady sign of the gap between us. Mythical beasts were antiquated, aware creatures, their insight estimated in centuries. We, the Dragonriders, were simple humans, without a doubt a tricky organization. Yet, Ignis, for all his fearsome standing, was unique. There was a gleam of something in his golden eyes, a touch of distress, a memory of a world desolated.

The principal rings of Scourge wound into the great beyond, their inky darkness overflowing defilement. Underneath, the skeletal remaining parts of the lord's military mixed, energized by the Curse's touch. My stomach held.

"The number of might we at any point kill before..." my voice followed off.

"Before it consumes all of us?" Ignis wrapped up. "Enough to purchase a second, maybe. Enough for what, rider?"

His inquiry hung weighty. What did we expect to accomplish? A final turning point? A gallant penance for a realm previously lost? Disgrace consumed in my throat. I was right here, gripping to the rear of an animal saw as a beast, facing a useless conflict, and I was unable to try and respond to his inquiry.

Out of nowhere, a memory surfaced. My granddad, the last Dragonrider before me, confronting a comparable swarm. "We battle not so much for triumph, Elara," he'd said, "but rather for an opportunity. An opportunity for the memorable world, to plan."

I fixed, another purpose solidifying in my chest. "An opportunity," I said, my voice reverberating across the barren scene. "An opportunity for others to ascend, to battle one more day."

Ignis let out a long, sorrowful breath. Another note reverberated in his profound thunder, practically confident. "Then, at that point, let us allow them that opportunity, little rider."

With a powerful beat of his sapphire wings, the Sky blue Wrath sent off himself into the fight. The breeze whipped past my face, a clashing submersion as I stuck to his back. The fight was a haze of fire, shadow, and steel. However, interestingly, I didn't feel dread. Next to me, not above me, not a frightening beast, but rather an animal with its own weight to bear, Ignis battled. What's more, together, we purchased an opportunity.

Consuming city. Disintegrating privileged position. Not a horse, but rather a tempest in scales - Ignis, the Sky blue Wrath. No legends here, simply a rider and a mythical beast, limited by fire's frantic settlement.

Focal Thought: This story investigates the complicated connection between a Dragonrider and their mythical serpent, testing conventional legend accounts and exhibiting an improbable organization fashioned despite a world-finishing danger.
