Detective Jack Parker was assigned to the case, and as he entered Finnegan's penthouse, he knew that this was going to be no ordinary investigation. The luxurious apartment was in shambles, with furniture overturned and personal belongings scattered everywhere.

Detective Jack Parker sat in his office, surrounded by piles of files and notes related to the case of the missing millionaire, Harold Finnegan. He had been working around the clock to try and piece together what had happened to the wealthy businessman, but so far, he was no closer to finding any solid leads.

As he was about to call it a day, his partner, Detective Lisa Chen, walked into the room. She had just come back from interviewing Finnegan's personal assistant, Emily Smith.

"I think we've got our first suspect," Lisa said, a hint of excitement in her voice.

Jack raised an eyebrow. "Really? What did you find out?"

"Turns out Emily had a bit of a crush on Finnegan," Lisa explained. "She's been working for him for over five years and according to her coworkers, she's always been very protective of him. But recently, Finnegan started dating someone else, and Emily was not happy about it."

"That's definitely a motive for murder," Jack agreed. "What's her alibi for the night of the disappearance?"

"She says she was at home, but there's no one to confirm it. And we found out she has a criminal record for embezzlement," Lisa added.

Jack nodded thoughtfully. "Okay, let's bring her in for questioning. We need to hear her side of the story."

The detectives spent the next several hours interrogating Emily, but she vehemently denied any involvement in Finnegan's disappearance. However, her inconsistencies in her story and her obvious emotional distress only made Jack and Lisa more suspicious of her.

As they left the police station, Jack couldn't shake the feeling that they were missing something important. The case was far from solved, and he knew that they had a long way to go before they could find the missing millionaire.

But for now, Emily Smith was their main suspect, and Jack was determined to get to the bottom of this mystery.
