The Mermaid's arrival
Into the big ocean
"Where am I?" She asked herself, unsure of her surroundings. She had a strange feeling on her neck. A feeling as if her neck was opening in three different areas on both sides. She looked down to the sight of her home, a glass dome hidden away. She was now above it and now in the ocean itself. She swam towards the dome but soon realised that she could never return home. So she kept swimming and swimming, with fear everywhere she went.

It was a familiar scene, yet it never failed to send a chill down the spine of anyone who dared to wander its deserted streets after dusk. The town had its secrets, buried deep within its history, and the fog seemed to carry whispers of those long-forgotten tales.
