The Living Dead

Thirty-Five (35) is such an odd age if you ask me, in 15 years, you will be 50 but 15 years ago, you were 20. I believe that a great number of people do not realize the amount of life changing events that can occur in a year. The problem is where I start; well let us start March 30, 2020. From that date until today, it seems as if I have had nothing but a mass ball of confusion heartache and pain. There is an old song lyric, my good days outweigh my bad days; so I will not complain. I do not think that is the case. What you will see if a tangled web of events that seem like they are not connected but once the rug is pulled you will see that they are truly connected and have everything to do with each other. So I guess it is story time.

Ryan was happily married to Donna when Ryan got a phone call about 9:45 at night after his weekly kickball game. This call would change is life Ryan and his family life forever. Ryan had been married for 6 years and had two (2) kids Ryan Jr (7) and Crystal (5). Ryan had been working extremely hard at his craft and the call was a job offer that back in his hometown about 4 hours away from where his family currently lived. Well the job was one of a lifetime and one that Ryan could not pass up. He had a brief discussion with Donna and wanted to make sure she was good with the job and the thought of moving closer to both Donna’s mother and Ryan’s mother was very promising. The two mother’s stayed in the same county just on opposite ends of the county. They were about an hour apart and would be able to see their grandkids more and more because of the position that Ryan would be accepting. Excitement was in the air and everything looked to be on the up and up but little did Ryan know it was truly the beginning of the end. Ryan only lasted a little over 20 months on that job and was fired. Donna never moved with Ryan four hours away, that lead to a divorce. Ryan met another woman had a child that was stillborn and that woman moved to an entirely different time zone. I think this is only the beginning of what needs to be written for the story of Ryan. Maybe next week we can dive deeper into the living dead.
