The Leaf That Ran Away With The Tree.

Tally tree was proud of her red and gold leaves. It loved showing them off, but there was a problem.

Autumn was annoying, and Tally tree lost all her babies.

Tally tree shook and blew everything around her into a big tornado cloud. she was angry with Mother nature.

She did everything to make her happy, but she still stole her babies.

However, she noticed one leaf that stood alone clinging onto the top branch. It refused to budge.

She decided to test it.

WOOOSH!!'

The leaf stayed.

The owners of the garden where Tally tree lived, did not like the fact that she took all of the sun from their garden, and they dug her up and replanted her. They placed her on the north side of the fence, because she could not hide the sun there.

Tallytree thought that all that digging would have shaken the last of the leaves from her tree, but that particular leaf remained.

sh tried again, blowing even harder this time.

WOOOOOOOOOOSH!!!

It was no use; the little leaf still remained.

When the owners woke up in the morning, they found plenty of autumn leaves covering their garden, and they did not like it.

They decided she had to go.

They were going to chop her down.

The tree started laughing.

They had no idea that Tally tree had legs instead of roots buried in the soil. She did not want to be chopped down, so she decided to run away.

She ran through hills, forests, crossed roads. She almost got chased by the police, but she managed to evade them.

After an hours worth of running, she finally found a beautiful field where there were other trees who had also made their home there.

She found a patch, and planted herself in the soil, beaming at her good work.

She noticed that her branches were bare, and a tear fell from a branch.

She missed her babies. She hated that Autumn had blown them all away.

Suddenly she heard a faint musical note jump of the ground. It was almost like a tiny tinkle from a bell.

She peered up at one of her branches, and lo! the leaf that had refused to leave had jumped back onto her branch!

She smiled with joy, as did all of the other trees.

Suddenly multiple golden leaves jumped back onto her branches, and she was awarded an award for being the most beautiful autumn tree in the world.

She just had winter to get through now, but sadly; she knew that she would be bare, because leaves grow and then they spread to fill the other trees.

That made her feel sad, though she smiled; because she knew that her babies were growing up.

Leaf explained in his musical notes that he didn't want to leave her sad, so he ran away with her.

Summer finally arrived, and it took a while but she ended up with the most beautiful lush green leaves a tree could hope for.

That was when she realized that she had done the right thing by running away, and she was so glad that leaf had ran away with her.

She learned to nurture her summer babies, until the time came when they turned into red and gold angels, which is when they left the comfort of their home, to help other trees grow.

Tally tree learned, never to neglect nature.

She knew now, that if nature is looked after, it will reward you.

She never took advantage of her babies again. Instead she nurtured them, and happily kept them safe until they were mature enough to accept their role.
