Vivian and Elon watched as the spaceship filled with lookalikes launched into the night sky, destined for the middle of nowhere.

“Remind me why I am not on that ship?” Elon asked.

“Because I need you…for now,” Vivian replied, “but that could change at any moment, so watch yourself.”

Elon paled and nodded.

“So, you’re going to back off the EU like we discussed and let the DOJ release the Epstein files?”

Elon crossed his fingers behind his back.

“That is what we agreed upon.”

“Good. Because if you don’t—” Vivian’s eyes glowed— “I can still cover up your death.”
