A long ago, there was an old man who lived in a quiet beautiful village. His name was Steve, he was a gardener by profession.he used to have vibrant flowers in his garden. Because of his colourful flowers and his quietness and peaceful silence, children were so fond of him.He rarely spoke with people. He used to say only a few words if it was necessary. As a result, people thought he was arrogant, some thought he might be unsocial or lonely or he has nothing to say.

But the truth is Steve’s thought were not empty — they were simply hidden.

An evening,a young pretty girl named Nova went to his garden to buy some flowers. Nova noticed Steve was so in hurry to sell. As soon as he sold the flowers,he started going somewhere silently. As Nova was a very curious girl, she decided to follow him silently.

Nova saw that the old man went to a tall gigantic tree and started digging near to it’s root. She was scared as well as surprised and was thinking what he was trying to do. Finally she noticed a wooden box in his hand, Steve slipped something there. Then he again put the box into the same place and went away from that place. Nova went there and opened the box and found hundreds of folded notes into it. She started reading all notes.

She understood These were not ordinary notes. They carried thoughts he never said aloud— feelings of love he never confessed, regrets he couldn't erase, and dreams he still hoped for.

Nova was such an intelligent and loving girl that she wanted to do something about it. The next day she came to the garden again and bought a flower. She gave the flower to Steve and Whispered,"I heard your beautiful thoughts.Your silence always speaks loud."Steve smiled with tears in his eyes because Nova was the first person who heard him.

From that day,the people of the village no longer saw him as silent. They understood: Sometimes, the most powerful voices are the ones we keep inside…. until someone listens.
