The big Dreamliner had been in the air for three hours, on a four-hour flight from Greece to London Heathrow Airport. It was just one hour to touch down. Howard looked across the aisle to Bill. They both got up and slowly made their way to the cockpit. At the last minute, Melvyn decided to remain back in the cabin.

Howard and Bill ambled into the cockpit and acted all innocent, exchanging pleasantries with the Captain and the First Officer. They asked the usual questions, like "What would happen if all engines failed?"

"We could glide to London from here." said the First Officer matter of factly.

After five minutes, they hit turbulence, which buffeted the plane some.

"Time to take your seats, gentlemen." said the Captain.

Howard and Bill returned to their seats.

"How was it?" said Melvyn, eager to know all.

Howard winked at Bill. "Great, they let Bill have a go, didn't they Bill? Clumsy devil caught the joystick with his knee."

"Ahh, that was what made the plane bounce up and down then!" said Melvyn, falling for it hook, line and sinker.

At that instant, Melvyn lost all credibility. He had been well and truly heisted.
