The haunted mansion

The girls stepped into the light and found themselves suddenly standing facing a dark haunted looking mansion. They had been transported from the temple ruins to a totally different time and space.

Melody, Marjorie and Amy clutched each other's hands, bickering being totally forgotten, and now replaced by utter and complete terror. Where did everyone else go. They had just turned a corner and then everything changed.

I had followed the girls at a distance, followed them into the stupid light and now I was stuck here with them. They didn't even like me, always teasing me about my belief in the supernatural and my geeky shyness.

"Where are we". I whispered.

The three girls jumped as if struck by electricity. The all screamed and spun around in fear and shock, Melody started to cry.

"Oh my God, David. Where did you come from"? Amy yelled.

"I'm sorry, I was following behind you and somehow ended up here".

The creak of the front door of the house brought their attention back to the house. There was no one there.

"Come in". An unseen voice called out!

"Oh my God. Did we get lost in a version of "Alice in Wonderland"? David asked fearfully, beginning to regret following the stupid girls.

"You go first David, you are a guy". Thank you very much girls.
