The Gold and Silver of Apollo and Artemis
The Last Cry of Orion
"Just shoot your arrow, my dearest sister," I tell my older sister as she hesitates in nocking her golden arrows. Her golden arrows contrasted my silver ones as the sun began to rise on the horizon.
"I can't make out the creature's form," Artemis squints as she raises her bow. I knew that her pride would drive her arrow. She let fly and a cry was let out from the sea unlike anything we've ever heard. Her eyes lit up in recognition.
"Orion!" she gasps in terror as her bow falls to the ground.
The golden arrows are finally mine.
