Once upon a time, in a small village nestled in the heart of the forest, there lived a young woman named Isabella. She was known for her beauty and kind heart, and many young men in the village sought her hand in marriage. However, Isabella had eyes only for a handsome stranger who had recently come to the village. His name was Edward, and he was unlike any man she had ever met. He was charming, witty, and swept her off her feet with his sweet words and gentle touch.

Isabella and Edward soon fell in love and decided to get married in a grand ceremony at the old abandoned mansion on the outskirts of the village. The mansion was said to be haunted, but Isabella and Edward were too much in love to care. They exchanged vows in front of their friends and family, and the couple was overjoyed.

However, their happiness was short-lived. On their wedding night, Edward disappeared without a trace. Isabella searched the entire village, but he was nowhere to be found. The villagers whispered that Edward had been taken by the ghost who haunted the mansion, but Isabella refused to believe it. She searched the mansion, calling out to Edward and hoping to find him safe.

To her horror, Isabella discovered that Edward was indeed trapped in the mansion. He had been betrayed by the ghost, a woman who had died in the mansion many years ago. The ghost had been in love with Edward and could not bear to see him marry another. She had taken him to the mansion, where she kept him captive in the attic.

Isabella was determined to save Edward and bring him back to the village. She entered the mansion, knowing full well that the ghost was watching her every move. She climbed the stairs to the attic, where she found Edward. He was weak and pale, but he was alive.

Just as Isabella was about to help Edward escape, the ghost appeared. She was angry and jealous, and she declared that Isabella would never leave the mansion alive. The ghost raised her hand, and a bright light filled the attic. When the light faded, Isabella found herself in the village cemetery.

She had been transported back in time, to the night of the ghost's death. The ghost had taken her place, and Isabella was now trapped in the past. She watched in horror as the ghost killed the man she loved and claimed him for herself. Isabella screamed and cried, but no one could hear her.

Years passed, and Isabella remained trapped in the past. She watched as the ghost's love for Edward faded, and he became nothing more than a prisoner in the mansion. The ghost grew old and died, but Isabella was still trapped.

One day, a young couple came to the mansion. They were looking for a place to hold their wedding, just like Isabella and Edward had done so many years before. The couple entered the attic, where they found Isabella's ghost. She told them her story and begged them to help her escape the past.

The young couple agreed to help, and they set out to find a way to break the ghost's curse. They discovered that the ghost had been betrayed by the man she loved, and that was why she was trapped in the mansion. The couple worked together, using their love for each other to defeat the ghost and break the curse.

As the ghost's curse was lifted, Isabella was finally able to escape the past. She found herself back in the attic, where she was reunited with Edward. He was shocked to see her, but he was overjoyed to be reunited with his true love. The couple embraced each other, and for a moment, it seemed as though all was well.

But as they turned to leave the mansion, they realized that the ghost had not been completely defeated. Her anger and jealousy still lingered, and she was determined to keep Isabella and Edward trapped in the mansion forever. With a terrifying roar, the ghost appeared, blocking their path.

Isabella and Edward stood their ground, holding each other close as the ghost approached. They closed their eyes, ready to face their fate. But as the ghost reached out to grab them, a bright light filled the room, and they disappeared.

When the light faded, Isabella and Edward found themselves back in the present day. They were standing in front of the mansion, and the ghost was nowhere to be seen. The couple hugged each other, grateful to be reunited and to have escaped the ghost's grasp.

But as they walked away from the mansion, they felt a chill run down their spines. They turned to look back, and there, in the window of the attic, they saw the ghost's face. She was watching them, waiting for the next unsuspecting couple to enter the mansion and fall into her trap.

Isabella and Edward ran, not stopping until they were far away from the mansion. They never returned to the village again, for fear of encountering the ghost once more. But even now, many years later, they can still feel her cold, piercing gaze upon them, reminding them of the terrifying love affair that nearly claimed their lives.
