The Forlorn

An eternal wanderer searching for salvation...

By Aidan ComstockPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read
The Forlorn

He was nothing more than the sword that protruded his chest.

To remove the sword would relieve a never ending pain, but destroy everything the man felt he once was.

To be more than the sword was all he ever wanted, but now, he eternally wandered, impaled with the pain of his past.

A battle from long ago, still piercing his heart and soul.

His steps no longer reverberate, heralding a glorious hero. The forlorn figure drifts in silence.

Incessantly searching for someone who can pull the sword, leaving despair and devastation in his wake.
