Testament of King Solomon

Chapter 1: The Hidden Scrolls

The moon hung low over Jerusalem, bathing the Temple in silver light. King Solomon, son of David, sat in his chamber, a parchment spread before him, its ink glistening like blood. It was a testament—one never meant to be read by mortal eyes.

The scroll spoke of spirits, creatures of the air, earth, and underworld, beings that lurked beyond human perception. They were not myths, nor were they distant phantoms. They walked among men, whispering in their ears, twisting fate to their will. And Solomon had been chosen to master them.

A deep voice rumbled through the chamber. "You seek forbidden knowledge, O King." The voice belonged to an unseen presence—a spirit bound to the room the moment Solomon had broken the seal of the scroll.

“I do not seek it,” Solomon responded, his voice unwavering. “It has been given to me. And I shall wield it wisely.”

Chapter 2: The Demon’s Trial

The next day, Solomon stood before the great altar of the Temple, the golden ring upon his finger burning with unseen power. The Testament had spoken of a ritual, a calling that would summon the spirits that walked among men. He spoke the words inscribed in the parchment.

A gust of wind erupted from the earth, swirling dust into the sky. And from the darkness emerged Ornias, the first of the spirits—a demon with the body of a man and the face of a lion, his eyes glowing like embers.

"King of Jerusalem," the demon growled, "why do you summon me?"

Solomon raised his ring. "By the name of the Most High, I command you—reveal your power and your weakness!"

Ornias snarled, his body twisting against an invisible force. "I am the harbinger of disease. I feed upon the blood of men and sow misery in their hearts. But I am powerless before the name of Raphael, the healer."

Solomon nodded, pressing his will against the beast. With but a word, Ornias fell to his knees. The king inscribed his name upon a tablet, binding him into servitude.

One by one, Solomon called the others forth:

Beelzebul – The Prince of Darkness, who ruled over legions of spirits. He held dominion over envy and corruption.

Asmodeus – The demon of lust, who brought ruin upon marriages and whispered desires into the hearts of kings.

Abezethibou – A fallen angel, cast into the Red Sea, seeking vengeance against the heavens.

Lix Tetrax – The spirit of the wind, who controlled the storms and plagued the deserts.

Onoskelis – A she-demon of the night, who seduced men in their sleep and drained them of strength.

Rabdos – A shadowy fiend who sowed hatred between brothers.

Efialtes – The nightmare demon, who crushed the breath from men as they slept.

Each spirit spoke of their purpose, their dominion over men. And each, Solomon bound with the power of his ring, forcing them to labor upon the Temple, carving stone and shaping its holy walls.

Chapter 3: The Battle for the Temple

Yet the Testament had warned Solomon—such power came at a cost. As the Temple neared completion, the bound spirits whispered treachery among themselves. Their hatred for the King grew, and in the shadowed corners of the great city, they plotted against him.

One night, Beelzebul himself rose against his captor. The great demon towered above the Temple, his wings blotting out the stars. "You believe yourself our master, Solomon. But even kings fall."

Solomon stood at the altar, raising his ring. "And even demons kneel."

A golden light burst from his hand, the name of the Most High radiating through the heavens. The demons screamed as their very forms burned beneath its purity. The skies split open, and from above descended the angel Raphael, his blade of fire cutting through the darkness. One by one, the spirits were cast into the abyss, their shrieks fading into silence.

When the dust settled, the Temple stood, untouched. The Testament had been fulfilled, the spirits subdued. But Solomon knew—his power had come at a price.

Chapter 4: The Price of Power

The scroll was sealed, hidden deep within the Temple’s walls, never to be opened again. Yet Solomon’s heart grew heavy, for he had glimpsed beyond the veil of the world. The Testament had granted him power, but it had also shown him the fragility of kingship.

Years passed, and whispers spoke of Solomon’s descent into strange rituals, of a wisdom turned to sorrow. He had mastered the spirits, yet in the end, it was not them who were undone—it was he.

And so, the Forbidden Testament remained a secret, lost to time, until the day another seeker dared to unearth the power of Solomon.
