The Ends of The Earth
The earth is ending and so the human kind goes to another earth in another universe proving the multiverse theory real only to find out that the same thing that destroyed this earth is happening to the other and they do everything they possibly can to save it.

Living has always been challenging but never impossible. Our carelessness and disregard for Earth have made it impossible for human beings to live on planet Earth in the current time; by our calculations, it will take 300 years for the Earth to be survivable again, 12 more generations until man can go home, our original planet of birth. A few months ago, a hole formed in our atmosphere pulling in outer temperatures and asteroids; the gap was as big as Los Angeles. In the first few weeks the cities closest to the hole froze killing everyone in them; after, since the atmosphere wasn't preventing asteroids of entering the planet anymore, they came down in fire blowing countries up, the impact of a single asteroid left a whole in the ground you couldn't see the other side from, and so the last few days were hell on Earth, thousands of people died with no way to save the rest, the human race kept shrinking and shrinking rapidly until there was only one million of us left, and we were about to freeze to death, until 5 magicians who have been hiding for years came to light and helped locate a planet that was almost inseparable from this one that had a sun not unlike ours, and so we took a ship that travelled faster than the speed of light; it took us a week to get to the planet, but once we did the only way we had to know if it's survivable is to send an exploratory team, and the only way we could do that is if we are willing to send one of the last people of our species possibly to their death.
The exploratory team is ready, and I'm on it. I will not send my people to do something I am not willing to do myself because if I was, then what kind of leader would I be? A coward? "Opening ship door now." The chief of engineering said with fear. I practically could hear his breath from here; I think he's more scared than us at that point.
The door is opening slowly, this moment feels like a thousand years, it's like time stopped, I could feel the air waving past me, I could feel the rush of adrenaline in my body, and my fear is rising slowly, the higher that door goes, the higher the fear goes; at this second I could die, but it also could mark a new beginning, and a fresh start for the human race, a place where we can start over and do better than we did before, save the world instead of destroying it.
"Please be breathable, please be breathable," Darsy said in her own weird, exciting way. she's pretty different than the rest; she's primarily happy and genuine; unlike the rest of the team, they're always too serious, but sometimes they can be hilarious. "Oh my god." She said with her dark blue eyes wide open and getting filled with tears of happiness.
"This looks a lot like Earth. How can that be?" I said in confusion.
As Darsy took her first step on the ground, her heart-shaped locket opened, saying one word. "Conspiracy." And so now we have no idea what the locket meant by conspiracy, it has never talked before or has even been opened, Drasy was never able to do so, the locket was unbreakable, at least now we know that it doesn't only open, but it talks as well.
The air smells like cinnamon, and the grass is so fresh. I forgot how good it felt to touch the grass, to see it, or its smell, that was one of the most beautiful things about it, its smell, it reminds me of home, the place where I grew up, we had a farm there, my mother she used to take me with her every time she planted something when I was a kid, mainly the reason why she'd take me out there though is to get me away from my father so that she can teach me to fight since my father disapproved, she wanted me to be able to take care of myself, and it paid off, I'm alive now thanks to her, I just wish she could've been here to see this beautiful place, but she died in the last few days before Earth was destroyed.
We're wandering around now trying to find anybody; I think the thing we're most excited and afraid of is the truth about aliens, whether or not they exist.
"What the hell," I said surprisingly.
There are buildings and cars and people; this looks exactly like New York City. I couldn't tell the difference if I didn't know that we're on another planet.
"Excuse me, sir, this is gonna sound weird, but what's the name of this planet?" I said with sweat dripping off of my face.
"This is Earth. Weirdo."
But Earth was destroyed; how can this be? Oh my god, I know exactly where we are.
"Guys, we're on another universe on another Earth, the theory of the multiverse is real, and we're proof for it," I said with a crazy amount of excitement and curiosity on how we got here, but my theory is when we traveled faster than light we opened a whole in the universal barrier creating a pathway from our universe to this one, which is really cool, I mean this doesn't even feel real, it's more like a dream.
"May you follow me please?" A random guy with a suit said, he looks like he's someone's bodyguard or something.
"Says who?" I said with a stern voice.
"The president. Now, will you follow me? Don't make me ask twice."
"Sure thing,"
This Earth is the same as ours. I really missed seeing people walking and not running for their lives; I miss the shapes of the buildings and how far they go up; I missed skyscrapers, skydiving, and free diving. God, I missed what the Earth had to offer.
"Hello, coffee?" The president said welcoming us.
"We're good thanks." Jack said, our teammate.
"You're from another universe, if I'm not mistaken, correct?"
"How did you know?" I said.
"When you asked that guy about this planet's name, I figured it out"
This guy is weird; I don't trust him.
"You shouldn't have come here, you have doppelgangers and you might just screw everything up if you go on pretending to be them."
"Why would we ever do that? We didn't come to invade you; we came for a second chance. We didn't even know that this is another universe until we asked that guy."
Something isn't right about the president; I think he's hiding something, something he wants to keep a secret, especially from us.
"Then your presence is no longer required. Thank you for coming forward and being honest; we didn't wanna do this the hard way, and apparently, neither did you." The president said in a manipulative way.
President Walker is suspicious, we need to know what he's up to, and we need to know it fast.
The heart-shaped locket is saying the same thing over and over again "Conspiracy, liar, end." There is a news report that says, "Paris has frozen up completely." Oh lord, what happened on our Earth is happening to this one, except there is no hole in the atmosphere freezing Paris up, so how can it freeze when it's this hot?
"Conspiracy, liar, end," Jack whispered to himself.
"The locket. It's warning us. Paris freezing for no reason. This is a conspiracy lead by the president; we have to stop him before he does to this world what we did to ours; I am not letting another planet die when I can stop it." Jack said angrily.
He's running. "Jack, wait," I yelled. "Jack, hold up," Darsy yelled.
He isn't listening to us; he has always been this stubborn but also reckless and unpredictable.
"Stop what you're doing now," Jack screamed at the president while holding a gun to his head.
"What do you think you're doing?" The president said.
"I said stop the damn conspiracy."
"What? No."
"I am not letting you destroy this beautiful planet," Jack said
"I'm sorry." Jack pulled the trigger, killing the president without even blinking; he really believes he's doing the right thing here.
Oh my god, the cops are coming. "Jack, hide," I said quietly.
"Jack Stevens. You're under arrest for the crime of murder." And they stated to him his rights while dragging him like a lost puppy who killed his owner to jail, They're gonna kill him secretly, they can't share the causes of the president's death to the public, they won't be able to handle the consequences.
