“They are coming!” screamed Louis. “They have two faces and a myriad of eyes!” he yelled louder, while running towards the century old bomb shelters. They were built in 2040 to protect the citizens of Mars from the invasive bomber alien species that would often invade the domes of Mars and explode killing thousands of citizens in a millisecond. He was running with a group of other people but they were now nowhere in sight.
“I - can’t - go - any - further…” Louis muttered sluggishly in slicing pain all over his gaunt body. He was outside the domes for days now. His oxygen tank was now running low.
A new species has invaded. No one knew what was coming. No one was prepared. Only a few citizens remained. Many have already left in pods trying to escape the wrath of these hideous weird beasts.
“Noo…Ahhh!” “Somebody help us!” Louis heard piercing screams from inside the shelter he was hobbling towards. He froze, shaking in despair and fear.

Perfect Little Pirate
The rough, sodden rope bit into her fingers as she swung over the roiling water far below. Reaching out with the toe of her boot, she managed to catch hold of the rain-soaked railing of the ship- and promptly slipped. Throwing herself forward, she landed hard on the deck, slamming her elbows against the wood planks. The sharp yelp of pain quickly bubbled into a laugh, and she rolled onto her back, laughing up at the gray sky as a torrent of rain washed away the soot covering her skin.
