The planet, barren, lifeless, cold. Nothing grew on its surface, nothing moved in its air. It had been that way for eons, since a cataclysmic event wiped out all life.
But rapidly something changed. A tiny speck of light soared down from the sky, piercing darkened thick clouds. It hammered to the ground, buried and obscured within the soil. A solitary seed, carried by a cosmic wind from a distant world.
The seed sprouted, and a green shoot emerged. It grew and multiplied, spreading across the land. It was the beginning of a new era, a new life.
