There weren't always dragons in the Valley.

Before earth and man, there were gods and goddesses on a world created by the father of gods Titanicus. Titanicus left the world with the hope of peace and unification and named it Caelum. Before he vanished, he left his two beloved sons Abicus and Neffron to rule in his stead and vanished. The two brothers loved each other each other very much. The bond between them was inseparable.

Well, that was the case for centuries until Neffron, the youngest, was sent on a journey to recover the new appointed goddess.

On this journey, Neffron faced many dangers and escaped death many times. The night before arriving to the hidden village Neffron decided to rest before making his announcement. He climbed into a tree and fell asleep. The moon was out when he saw movement from the corner of his eye. Wings? He had climbed fifteen feet in the air. The size of the wings were too big to be a normal bird.

He waited and just as he was going to give into delusion, he saw her. Rather the moon revealed her. There in the meadow underneath the tree laid a winged creature. She had scales that covered most of her body. Each scale illuminating a different color. When the moon shined directly on them a halo of light was created. Her back carried a pair of white wings, each wing five feet long, made of soft feathers. She had two horns sticking out of her gold/black hair and a tail that curled around her neck like a pendant.

Neffron had never seen such a stunning sight. Love at first sight. As if sensing his presence, she leapt into the air and extended her wings in attempt to flee. He knew he had to do something in order to stop her from leaving. To halt her escape, he leapt out of the tree in hopes she would save him.

The creature noticed him falling from the tree and redirected her trajectory to catch him. There in her arms, as he had plotted, Neffron made a silent vow to never leave her side. As she placed him on the ground, Neffron confessed his love. The creature looked puzzled but humored at the god's sudden confession.

The creature spoke, "I think you hit your head on the way down."

Neffron asked, "What is your name? I must know the name of my future queen."

Mylexiaña questioned, "Are all the gods this egotistical? My name is Mylexiaña. I am to be the next fire goddess. Are you the one they sent to fetch me?"

Neffron announced, "I am Neffron. Second king of Caelum. I personally came all the way to escort you to the palace. It was a dangerous journey. How have you lived out here for so long all by yourself?"

"Who said I was alone?"- Mylexiaña

"Who keeps you company?"- Nefforn pressed as he stared directly into her eyes.

"My capturer is asking for the location of my loved ones? If that's a threat you will wish you had fallen from the tree. In fact, had I known you were a king I would have left you to fate," Mylexiaña stated while glaring back.

"I would never threaten you. You are not my captive. I am beyond grateful, for you are the one who saved me. This act can not go without a reward. You saved my life now it belongs to you."- Nefforn

"The life of a king can so easily be given away? So I can refuse the position of fire goddess and send you back on your merry way?"- Mylexiaña

"No! I don't plan on ever letting you go. You have your own obligations to fufill. However, now that my life belongs to you.... maybe I can make it more fulfilling."- Nefforn

Though Mylexiaña should've felt anger she felt an odd mixture of excitement and frustration. Not with this god but with herself. This strange man who threw himself from a tree was now invoking unnatural feelings within her. Why was she feeling conflicted about wanting to go with the beautiful stranger? Why did he leap from the tree? What was the motivation behind his actions?

"You are an odd man. You must be popular back at the palace. We should leave now. I've already said my goodbyes. I don’t want them seeing you. They don't need the reminder."- Mylexiaña

"Odd? I know not of what you mean? Also them? Indulge me with an answer." - Neffron

"You will never know of them so do not ask again. What life have you lived? You were born a god. Ruling as a king. What has left you so dissatisfied that one resorts to flinging themselves from a tree? Riddle me that oh great King." - Mylexiaña

Neffron was left speechless. Heat rising up from his neak to his ears due to embarresment. The goddess in front of him knew he had purposelly leapt out of the tree. To make matters worse she thought he was trying to end his life as well. How humiliating. At this sudden realization the humbled king could only laugh.

Mylexiaña stood in confusion as to why the man before her was laughing. It seemed that her words had affected him to the point where he turned red. However, she was confused as to why he was laughing. She thought he would lash out of anger for wounding his pride. The laughter was giving her the impression that he was indeed mad. This all put her on edge.

Looking over at her once more and seeing a puzzled face, Neffron realized he was making a bad situation worse. Composing himself, he bent the knee and properly addressed the goddess in front of him.

"I, King Neffron of Caelum, came up with the devious plan of making you, Mylexiaña, mine. My plan was to have you save me. Create a bond of savior and worshipper. It seems my plan had a few miscalculations. I apologize for trying to mislead you. However, the morning will soon be upon us and the journey is long. May you forgive me and allow me the chance to make up for my foolish deeds along the way?" - Neffron stated bashfully.

"What a silly man. I don't completly understand the intentions behind your actions but I can not deny that you have peeked my interest. I accept." - Mylexiaña while smiling.

The journey back to the palace resulted in love. Neffron fell in love with the new goddess of fire, Mylexiaña. She was unique. She stood out the most out of all the other goddesses and gods. Neffron adored her ability to create fire with just a snap of her fingers. He saw her as his light in the dark world of power he lived in. She saw him for the gentle nature he embodied. He reminded her of her once beloved home in the mountains. Much like nature his soul tamed her roaring flames. The two gods married one another shortly after their first meeting.

Abicus, Neffron’s older twin brother, felt envious towards his younger brother. For the first time since their birth they were no longer on equal footing. Neffron now had a lover who would set the world aflame for him and him alone. Though Abicus also had a wife, the two woman could not be compared in the slightest. Abicus' ambition turned his eyes to Mylexiaña and what she could provide for him. He let jealousy and greed take over his heart and succumbed to the evil lurking there. He plotted against his once beloved brother, raising an army in secrecy. A year after their marriage, Mylexiaña had conceived an heir, Apethos.

Abicus was enraged and ordered his henchmen to begin his rebellion. A war that was full of carnage and sorrow, that brought darkness and misfortune on all the gods and goddesses; a war which came to be known as Proditio Tene. Blood flowed through the streets. The cries of woman, children and men rang through the skies for three straight nights. Anyone with ties to Neffron and Mylexiaña were ordered to palace to be made examples of the new reign. Once there, they were imprisoned, tourtored, and murdered.

During the battle, Neffron was betrayed by his men and fell into Abicus’ trap. After torturing Neffron for days, Abicus ripped out his heart. Mylexiaña tried to flee with her newly born infant but was captured. Her child was beheaded before her eyes. His wings ripped off and hung-over Abicus’ throne. Abicus gave Mylexiaña two choices: sever ties or death.

“Forget my brother and betroth yourself to me. Become the queen you so deserve.”

Mylexiaña shouted, “And if I refuse.”

Abicus smugly announced, “Death is all that awaits you. My brother and I share the same face. I know that you can love me the way you loved him. IT IS NOT AN OPTION YOU WILL LOVE ME!”

Mylexiaña cried out, “He loved you. You both came into this world together and Neffron truely believed you both were meant to leave it together. But you.... what have you done? You destroyed your other half and for what? Me? You took the life of your loyal subjects who helped raise you. You killed your devoted wife. YOU TOOK MY CHILD FROM ME... MY LOVER... WHYYYY? Why me? There is nothing special about me. He was the speacial one. Neffron made me shine and without him I too will fade into nothingness. If you love me the way you say you do than give me just one thing.”

Abicus looking pleased at the grief stricken goddess forced back a smile and asked," Of course, my love for you anything. What can I offer my future queen?"

Mylexiaña raised her chin and spat out, "GIVE ME DEATH! I will join my husband and child."

Fury ignited his eyes. He could not believe what he was hearing after all the mercy shown on his behalf. She still refused to be his. With a wicked grin

Abicus whispered, “Death is too easy of an escape I will just send you to your living hell.”

Abicus' fury knew no bounds and to add insult to injury dishonored Mylexiaña before banishing her. Mylexiaña was deserted by the gods to die alone. She was thrown down from Caelum. Her home where she once knew and loved. Falling from the heavens fire kept her company. Her wings were burnt to a nightshade black never to soar again. The fall knocked her unconscious.

When she awoke, she looked around to see nothing but a wasteland. No vegetation, no animals, and no life. She walked for days, her feet bloody and swollen until she could go no further. She couldn’t hold it in anymore she had to let go of her sorrow for her beloved son, husband, and her lost home. Her tears came down in waves. She could no longer contain her emotions and for six nights and seven days she cried until one tear was left.

She let it drop into the massive body of water. She named the body of water the sea after the sorrow she poured into it. As a gift to the sea for comforting her in her time of need Mylexiaña ripped off five scales and threw them into to the sea. Five types of animals emerged from the water: a plant like creature, a small animal with claws, a small animal with fins, a bigger animal with fins and sharp teeth, and a animal ten times larger than herself with the capability to breath air.

The sun watched from above and took pity on Mylexiaña’s situation and cast a ball of fire down on the world which hardened the world.

Mylexiaña was surprised by the sun's actions and shouted to the sky, “Why do you throw your flames on me.”

The Sun replied, “I saw what was done to you and the ones you held dear. My child I have been around longer than the gods to know what it means to live in solitary. I wish not for you to live that life as well. So, I took pity on you and tried to kill you.”

The sun continued to question, “Why have you not died?”.

Mylexiaña shouted back, “The gift of fire is my power. But thank you for you have helped me!”.

The sun asked, "How have I helped you?”

“You have given me the idea to create a new home so thank you.”

“If you believe this then so be,” said the Sun.

With that, the sun turned its back. She climbed onto the area where the sun’s fire scorched. She put her hand on the ground and felt that the ground was very soft. She laid down and contemplated what to do next. She had noticed one of her feathers drifting through the sky and something clicked in her head.

She took the feather into her hand and dug a hole deep enough to put her arm in. She placed the feather into the soft ground and blew fire into the hole and covered it up. She waited and waited. Time passing by her second by second, day by day, month by month. It had been nine months and still she concluded nothing would appear. As she was rising from her spot, the earth began to move violently.

Unknown to what would happen Mylexiaña tried to fly away but realized she could no longer fly. Out of the ground came a creature that stretched far into the sky its skin made of fire and scales the color of crimson red. It's talons black and sharp. Sharp enough to slice her into a ribbon with just a flick of its wrist. The eyes were the color of a bright amber, that seemed to glow.

Mylexiaña couldn't move and just stood there staring at the creature in admiration. Mylexiaña began to think of what she would call it. She had noticed that it was actually a him. With this new information, she decided to name him Agolas, the fire dragon. Mylexiaña then created four more dragons.

She took four more feathers and placed them into different holes like before but instead of fire she used salt water for the first hole; for the second hole she blew air into the hole; for the third hole she used a few drops of her own blood; and for the last hole she just covered the feather with the soil. When the time arrived four dragons like Agolas appeared from the ground.

The first dragon was covered in blue scales and had webbed feet. Her eyes were the clear blue like the color of the ocean. Mylexiaña named her Anahita, the water dragon. The next dragon was pure white with feathers surrounding him. His eyes pitch black eyes. She named him Aeras, the dragon of air. The third dragon to come out of the ground was Agaia, the dragon of nature. Agaia was covered in green and brown scales. Her mane was the color of light and dark green. Her eyes a deep violet with flecks of green and blue. The last dragon that came out of the ground was Arwan, the dragon of the earth. His body was covered in rocks, like a suite of armor, and he had green eyes. But unlike the other four dragons he did not possess wings.

Mylexiaña gave each dragon a task to fulfill. Anahita, the water dragon, was to create more sea life and rule the sea as her own domain. Aeras, the air dragon, was given the sky as his domain. Aeras created the clouds, he also created birds to keep him company when he soared through the sky. Agaia was given the domain of nature creating vegetation and animals. She created trees and grass from her mane. She created animals out of her blood. Arwan’s domain was the land. He pounded into the ground and created mountains and hills. He also created caves where he slept away in. Agolas was the ruler of the world right besides Mylexiaña. His domain was to rule the fire with her. His ability of fire gave hime the capability to create volcanoes.

During the whole year it took for the five dragons to create the world she now called home, she grew closer to Agolas. She studied his behavior and his abilities. She noticed that that Agolas could breathe fire and with enough power could transform into a man. He was beautiful with golden blonde hair that matched his amber eyes. He still had his wings and his talon, but he was like Mylexiaña. So, she decided to make him her lover. Out of that union, the first human was born hatched out of a dragon egg. Mylexiaña gave her daughter the name Adamaris.
