[ Entry One ] Entering a giant alien warship over China.

It was in a fraction of a second, the thought of suicide brought calm to his inner being. Many of the comrades Johnathan had made during his time in the Corps allowed him to feel a sense of belonging. As though his own nuclear family had been artificially bred. Once the aliens struck, everyone on Earth didn't know what the outcome would be.

The United Nations of Atom mobilized to get the resources they needed to finalize a game plan, and yet, so many humans had begun to be abducted. Taken out of their houses, their jobs, even churches. The world was at an end and the thought of suicide was the main thing that came to Johnathan’s mind the most.

[ ] Your partner/comrades are slaughtered on your first mission.

John often believed, after the dust had settled, that his very first assignment had been such a disaster. It was not just the giant alien warship flying over China that made this mission so terrible, it was the casualties of the comrades that John witnessed firsthand. The blood he felt defiled his hands because of the neglect of his teammates. His party had assembled at the southern extremity of the warship after being dropped by a newly upgraded Blackhawk.

As the soldiers and John rappelled down to the warship, every member of that group felt a sense of fear. Nobody knew what to expect, so far the extraterrestrials themselves had never been seen by any soldier. Any soldier that made it out alive that is.

[ ] A sniper ally is killed in front of you after shielding you from deathly fire.

John and the other’s counted their ammo and resources before breaking into two groups of three. Scouting ahead in order to reach what was thought to be the engine room in their briefing. The mission assigned to John and his team was simple: make their way onto the enemy ship, plant the ceramic based plastic explosives in the main engine room, and Evac with as few casualties as possible.

What John and the others failed to account for being the possible mole placed among the soldiers feeding unknown enemy information about the approaching attack. As they began to reconnaissance the enemy warship, something felt misplaced for John. The alien craft appeared to be nothing seen by the soldier himself, the surface was rigid with a purple illumination coated over the surface.

[ ] After fending off the enemy and losing three allies you begin to have a panic attack on the battlefield.

The corridors swerved in the corners with an organic texture that felt softened as the march progressed. A resounding echo of strange voices that echoed through the alien ship as energy projectiles flew through John's helmet from all angles. John took cover before seeing a few men and women soldiers lie down permanently due to enemy fire. In a moment that seemed longer than he should have at Johnathan, Kassandra, a fellow former sniper, had shielded him from coming fire. On the ground, on the ground, it's starting to get very warm in here. While trying to calm the moment between the two soldiers, an unidentified target took the shot.

Knocking out the sniper and instantly recorded as killed in action. Flashes of paranoia rushed through the soldier's mind, grotesque images of Kassandra’s skull opening up to reveal a pearl white skull as it carelessly fell to the floor replayed in John’s head for a few moments. It appeared as if the strange voices were mumbling more and more loudly in John's head as this vision replayed over and over again in his hysterical mind.
