The Boy Who Cried Wolf

Once upon a time, there was a shepherd boy who used to take care of a flock of sheep. One day, the boy got bored and decided to play a prank on the villagers by crying out, "Wolf! Wolf! There's a wolf attacking the sheep!"

The villagers, worried about the safety of the sheep, rushed to the boy's aid, only to discover that it was a false alarm. The boy laughed and repeated the prank several times in the following days, and the villagers always came to his aid.

One day, a wolf actually attacked the sheep, and the boy cried out for help, but nobody came to his aid, thinking it was just another prank. The boy lost all of his sheep due to his dishonesty and lies.
