He let out a roar. The door should stop Ella but she'd torn it apart! And now she was through it, running. He was tempted to pursue her Himself for the hunt. But there were better, more painful ways. Time to ramp it up! He'd been playing with her up until now, dangling the string, watching her reach for it, like teasing a kitten and now, He needed her to know who controlled her and always would.

He shivered with excitement. A new game was beginning!

He wasn't stupid. He could see that strength had been gained by Ella from somewhere. The man The Master had been tasked to bring in.

He opened the Comms. control on his wrist.

"We have a runner. Disruption level to 10 immediately. And get me The Master."

Corridors extended infront of them. Ella would never have been able to run like this days before. She had no idea how to get out. She needed help.

"I'm here," Jason said.

Ella frowned. This thought-reading was intrusive.

"Not something I can help right now, Catwoman."

Ella felt angry and then realised that this was conducive to nothing.

"I'm not exactly ecstatic about all this either but you may have noticed that we're fighting for our lives. Or you are. I'm not sure what the deal is with me."

Ella knew he was right. They needed to get out of here. Maybe get to Malcolm? Except she had no idea where he was or if he was.

"Let's focus on the here and now and then we can worry about this Malcolm bloke later."

Ella frowned again at Jason's commentary. She needed knowledge from others. They couldn't just continue randomly running.

Please let there be other Perceptives who could help!

A key entered the lock. She tried to steady her breathing as best she could but her old nostrils always let out a whistle.

The handle turned and her nerve held, hand clenched around the needle.

"Mum? Are you here?'

She sighed with relief.

"Mum?"

"I'm here, Jim."

"What are you doing standing by the door?"

Jim, The Master, looked at his mum and then started, anxiety hitting him, as his Comms. vibrated.

The saga continues. Are we going to have a new character introduced? Who can Ella reach out to? Does she need to really with Jason "on board"? Might Anna be the help she needs? Does it end here with a big showdown? Will the heightened Disruption have an effect or can Jason be the shield that protects Ella? If they get out, where will they run to? Is Jim going to be able to keep his nerve? So many questions!!!
