Thanks at 3pm

A stroke of luck tale.

By Konrad KrampPublished about a year ago 1 min read

14:27 Dennis Peddle looked at his clock. Wow.

Lately, it seemed the longer Dennis slept, the more he needed. Maybe this is what redundancy does to people.

14:45 He gulped some coffee and went for a walk, ignoring the final demands envelopes.

14:58 What will I do? Reality was terrifying. This is why sleeping is better. No feelings. He entered the park.

Not knowing why, Dennis just happened to look inside the discarded cup on the ground.

It was heavy.

Full of cash.

Nobody around.

15:00 Dennis headed home, remembering forever to say Thanks at 3pm.
