"Don't worry Wilfred, there's plenty to go around. In fact there might be too much."
"No time to complain," Martha interrupted, "time to get the gettin' while the gettin's good."
"All I'm saying is that if he really did care, he'd come around more often, giving back to the community," Louis coughed.
"Careful now Louis," Martha replied. "Don't be startin' no blasphemy."
"Come on, Martha! If he really cared for all of us he'd-"
ZAP!
"Holy shit!" Jerry spat his drink.

Decay
Upon here I lay, victim of death and decay, I will be of great use to many. I'll be their home. I'll be their food. Through generations of them, the testament of time I stood. But now I lay. That's all I do. Mighty I was, but now a corpse, it's true. Of life I was given. Of lives I helped to provide. Even in the moments after, I continue to do so, I must confide. Chapter 2: Family After Three years have passed since the incident, Acher woke from his dreams and found himself in the hallway alone. He crouched low, quickly tiptoeing past his sister's door. He shuffled his feet in place as her doorknob turned slowly. The grin on his face grew wider and his eyes had a devilish look of glee. When she stepped into the hallway he yelled at her, “Lighting rod transference attack!” He grabbed her arm with a cheetah-like speed sending an electric shock into her body. A loud pop echoes off the wall with a quick yell in harmony. Astrid stares blankly at her big brother.
