The Little Boy Who Waited for Santa
On the outskirts of a small town, tucked between frostbitten trees and a crumbling wooden house, lived a little boy named Timmy. His cheeks were always red from the biting cold, and his tiny hands shivered even beneath his worn-out gloves. Timmy's family was poor, but his heart was rich with dreams. Christmas Eve had arrived, and the world outside was a sparkling wonderland of snow. Every window Timmy passed on his way home from collecting firewood glowed warmly with decorations. Inside those homes, families laughed and celebrated. Timmy imagined children just like him tearing into beautifully wrapped presents. He hurried back to his small home, a single-room shack that barely kept the cold out. His mother was stitching a tattered scarf near the dim light of a candle, her face lined with exhaustion. Timmy walked in quietly, careful not to disturb her.

The Enigma of the Seasons. Content Warning.
Chapter 1: Clara's Return Clara walked down the quiet streets of the coastal town, the cold breeze touching her face like a reminder of her childhood spent far away. The town, once a peaceful refuge, was different. The old houses, the narrow alleyways, and the hills rising behind the town now seemed to hide something — a presence she couldn't identify. She felt that something more was going on, something beyond the disappearance of her grandfather.
