The Shadow King's Gambit
Prince Kael had always been an afterthought in the grand schemes of Eldrin’s royal court. As the third son of King Alaric, his days were spent in the shadow of his elder brothers—heir-apparent Darion, the warrior prince, and wise, diplomatic Alden. Kael was the overlooked son, content with quiet evenings in the castle library, far from the weight of responsibility. But all that changed the night the Shadow King came. It was the height of the annual Solstice Feast, the grand hall alive with music, laughter, and the warm glow of chandeliers. Nobles toasted to prosperity, oblivious to the storm brewing beyond the castle walls. Then, as the final toast was raised, the torches flickered.

The Town at The Beginning of The End. Content Warning.
It was about time I had moved back home, to my tiny little port town in Maine. The sedated pace of life back home was something I once dreaded, and greatly criticized. But after a long ten years working in the corporate hell that is Tokyo, I yearned for that pace once again. I was aging like a deer corpse, mangled daily by scavengers, a breeding ground for maggots. During my restless work nights, in the single hour I would get to sleep, I often dreamt of home. Standing at the port's edge, watching the small fishing boats drift in and out of the foggy surface of the sea. I dreamt of the cold wind and soft drizzling rains.

The Saintess Villainess (SV)
CHAPTER 2 I packed up my things then opened the window. Then I jumped. Ouch, the pain stabbed my like a knife, but I must keep on going. I walked slowly thinking about what I could do with this much freedom. As soon I saw the nearest alleyway, I went inside it. I saw the Duke of Valencia’s back on a wall through the alleyway. I walked through the alleyway and went closer. I stared at Duke Valencia. It looks like he was wounded. Blood strains was showed on his clothes. I remembered that in the story the part he and Cordelia met there. Cordelia had healed him with the saintess’s power, then Duke Valencia believed that she was his wife long lost child. Now was the chance. If I cure him, I will be able to get some mercy in the future! As I entered, “Rosie, please say that say that you will stay. Do not leave me. I can go on my knees and beg you for the rest of my life. I will do anything that you will say me to. So please do not leave me.”, pleaded Duke Valencia. “I am not that person who you are looking for.”, I said.

I'll Love you for A Thousand More
Jaxon had crafted a heartfelt poem, a melody woven with love for Amelia. It wasn’t something he sat down to compose; it was a tune that flowed naturally, one he found himself singing every day. Each note carried the weight of his longing, a tender refrain that surfaced whenever he missed her presence.
