The Fortress
"Move, bitches! Or we will shoot," is all the guards kept repeating, again. It was starting to get old. We moved out of the implantation room and went through a small dark corridor. We walked for a few minutes, and we eventually reached a service counter area, where we were told each to pick up one of those bedding kits that were handed over to us.

Astro Cab
"I hate space!" I thought that to myself at least once a day during my days as an Astro-Cab driver. Sure, the idea of driving through the galaxy, meeting new people, and seeing all kinds of celestial wonders sounded like fun on paper, but that's only for those who get to drive in the better parts of the Milky Way. Me, I was stuck in the Tenderloin—the armpit of the universe. After a few years, I learned one thing: this galaxy is full of crazies!

Riley Adams Tries Dying
It was a quiet day in H City and Riley Adams was taking full advantage of it. As the lone paranormal investigator in a city with every sort of paranormal problem imaginable (and then some) she didn’t get much down time. When she did she made sure to enjoy it because, Riley knew from years of experience, it was always the calm before the inevitably annoying storm. What she didn’t know was that this time, the storm was personal.

The Fortress
"Move, bitches! Or we will shoot," is all the guards kept repeating while waiving their rifles at us. We, the orange suits, were moving out of the room very slowly, with the assistance of the black suits. The blue suits, however, were standing on the sidelines. I noticed the blue suits wore a red cross on their shoulders. Maybe they were part of the medical staff. I had no idea what the black suits were for.

City of Light
If you are living in a dark world where you witness death daily. A sphere full of pain, anger, hate, and regret. Then you probably would like the concept City of Light. A site where all your pain is released. A unique place where death unleashes the mind and pain means nothing. Something out of this cosmos, nobody knows where it exists exactly, but they radically believe that it does. This is how City of light is represented in the American post-apocalyptic science fiction drama television series, The 100.

THE GODS OF GILGAMESH
There was a time when Russia's coastal Mirnyy Station supplied the Vostok camp by tractor-pulled sledges once a year. Those were the impoverished years when Russia struggled to maintain Vostok on its own. Global climate change, and the ever more critical need to understand it, altered all that. The long buried lake was thought to hold possible clues to long-term change. If its maybe million year pristine record could be studied, it might reveal that the changes that now threatened the earth were nothing more than vast cyclical events which mankind would eventually survive. Then again, the lake might prove that survival was no longer a sure thing.

GODBODY
Chapter 1: YOU FOUND ME "THY WORLD PUSHED TO RUIN; YOUR CRIES WERE MADE" WE WILL DENY YOU... The cargo hauler had been traveling through the sands for quite some time now. A new dive site opened and plenty of eager mechanics sent out their best hunters to grab whatever loot they'd be able to get their hands on. One such robot by the name of S01 is the hero of this setting, brandishing a gold emblem adorned with a single red M. As they walked forward, the nearby hunters made way for the machine both in fear and awe because S01's presence meant that there was a good haul to be had. There were cheers until they found their seat at the helm of the top deck.

4-H-N
The first sun of Grindotron was still some hours from appearing above the horizon, and in the general grey of 4-H-N’s room the tiny square ink-bottle sitting on the nightstand looked blacker even than something black had any right to look. 4-H-N supposed that was not surprising, given what she knew of its contents.
