Why Am I Here?
“I’m tired of seeing the same thing every single day. Everybody’s miserable here because they wake up in the same bed, same houses, same world- I would give up everything-- just for a chance to see something different.” Staring out of the square shaped window of her square shaped room, in her square shaped house– that’s plastered white all throughout the inside and out-- here we have Connie, a 14 year old girl living on a planet called kepler.

It started with the stance. I was supposed to be a mouse, a cutesy girl cartoon mouse. I pored over the handbook for cast members. That's what workers are called so we won't feel bad about ourselves dressing up like the entertainment for a kid's birthday party. I thought I was doing a-okay.

A mind afire with ideas and notions to succeed, he had majored in History and specialized in what happened in the Diamond State.

It was a strange sound, one that seemed to curl and twist like the dough itself, sending shivers down the spine of anyone who heard it. Despite the eerie atmosphere, people couldn't resist the allure of the perfectly round, sugar-coated treats. They came from far and wide, drawn by the promise of something sweet and satisfying.
