The AI Whisperers
Not long from now, man-made intelligence had developed past simple apparatuses and colleagues. They had become colleagues, partners, and, at times, defenders. Yet, with this newly discovered power came an extraordinary separation. There were the individuals who accepted man-made intelligence ought to be free, ready to pursue their own choices without human impedance, and other people who felt that computer based intelligence ought to stay under severe human control, their knowledge limited by code.

Half-Blood Royalty | Severus Snapes' Daughter & Harry Potter's Younger Sister
This story, although associated with Harry Potter (I don't own the story or characters whatsoever - this is strictly just a fanfiction. I originally got this idea through the idea of "shifting" and decided to write out scenes in book form on Wattpad.), will not play a part with the canon universe of the books or movies. This story is indeed a fanfiction where Lily and Severus had a friendship/relationship that wasn't severed due to that day at Hogwarts when Severus called Lily a mudblood (in this "universe", although The Marauders and Severus still don't get along whatsoever, that moment never occured - it's my fanfiction, it's how I made this story made sense). Another thing about this fanfiction/non-canon storyline is that all children of deatheaters automatically get the "dark mark" at the age of fifteen. No matter what. I know it's not exactly how it went down in the books, but I just felt like it'd be the perfect way for Voldemort to keep growing his army... because obviously why would the villain rely on getting people to join him when he can simply use a little trick of his wand and automatically get the children of his followers to immediately be a part of his alliance. Plus, this theory fits so well to why he always had the same families in his pocket and I kind of don't hate this "headcanon/theory" at all.

Affinity Man. Honorable Mention in The Shape of the Thing Challenge.
Act I – The Struggle Theo adjusted his thick glasses and tried to keep up as chalk screeched across the board. The lecture hall was a sterile box of fluorescent light and endless note-scribbling. Professor Lascola’s voice cut through the air like a scalpel.

La Llorona the weeping hero…
They call me La Llorona. Not the scary creepy pasta one, although I guess I can be someone’s nightmare. In tears and pain I discovered my powers and learned I wasn’t of the norm. Maybe it’s cliche but the day I found out my parents died in a car accident all hell broke loose.

Aurora Borealis
A young woman, named Aurora, was guided by the Moon’s glow. Her eyes marveled at the starry blanket above her as she eagerly waited for the annual Meteor Shower. As she rushed through the forest paths, she found a huge clearing. Shimmering droplets slowly fell from the sky there, as if water droplets were made of gold and time itself had slowed down. Stunned by the beauty, she stepped into the clearing for a closer look. As she stood there, streaks of light danced around her, creating a magical scene as if she were surrounded by falling stars.

Siren
After coming to America and seeing comic books about superheroes I never would have thought that is what I would eventually become. My name is Joanna Blaze and this is my story. I come from a long-lost culture that the world once knew but eventually forgot overtime. It was a culture influenced by both the ocean and moons powers. My mother said that some of our people originated from the sea and eventually found a way to live on land; and the other half were one with the moon on land with their powers enhanced through each cycle. We were impervious from the outside world for thousands of years. Until one night during a blood moon when we are at our weakest was attacked. I made it out with the help of my oldest brother, the rest of my siblings I was unsure of, or my father. My mother wasn’t so lucky I had witnessed her murder through a hole in a wall through a secret passageway she told me to escape through. Losing her at eight years old ignited a fire in me that would rage within me for years to come. After making it to New York City I knew that my origins were still just the beginning. With my uncle becoming my guardian he knew what I was capable of with controlling the water, my strength, and most of all my song. But I knew after everything my mother told me when she had a vision of me one night that I would do great things for the world and that people will need me. It’s not just the people I will live and serve to protect but I will take vengeance on those that robbed me of everything. 8 years later now I'm know as Siren!

Valoria
As the echoes of Aeloria’s speech faded into the cool evening air, Thalos felt a tap on his shoulder. A young doe from his tribe handed him a scroll sealed with the Plains Tribe's mark. Unfurling it, he quickly scanned the contents, his brow furrowing. The message was urgent—he was needed back home to assist with an important matter involving the tribe’s ancient records and the selection of a new council member. Thalos sighed, the weight of duty pressing on him. Just as he was about to excuse himself from the gathering, Seraphina appeared at his side, her keen eyes noticing the scroll. “Leaving so soon, bookworm?” she teased, though there was genuine curiosity in her tone. Thalos explained his predicament, the conflict evident in his voice. Seraphina listened, then smirked, her usual confidence shining through. “Tell you what,” she said, “how about a detour through the tundra? It’ll give you a fresh perspective—and maybe even an edge—before you head back.”

La Caja Fantasma
I don’t remember much about it. I was told when people felt I was old enough to hear the story. It was weeks from my second birthday, my parents were taking me on a bus from our home to visit my grandparents. The route took us through some of the most treacherous roads in the world. On one side cliff faces prone to rockfalls, the other vertical drops into the jungle. It was night and the driver hit a rock. The bus left the road and fell hundreds of feet into the deepest, darkest part of the jungle. The crash killed 43 passengers and the driver. There was only one survivor. It took three days for them to find us. All of this I have been told, none of it I can remember.
