The Unraveling of Reality
The river ran backwards on the day the Queen vanished. I remember this clearly, but I'm not sure if the memory is real or just a trick of my brain. I stood by the edge of the swollen river and saw the current flowing upwards. Leaves and twigs floated against the stream, as if the river itself defied the passage of time and all science. It was a silent rebellion, slow and purposeful, but still unsettling.

Diamond Cut
The earth screeched upwards into the sky- broken by the weight of war and fury. The thundering clash of bronze and iron momentarily masking the tortured lament of death and injury. The trees quivered as arrows shot through their leaves culling birds and squirrels - innocent bystanders in a needless thirst for blood.

The Vanishing Queen: The First Chronicle
The river ran backwards on the day the Queen vanished. Pandemonium ensued. "It is an ill omen!" the people cried, wailing and wringing their hands in fear. And quite rightly, as never mind the superstitious implications of sinister powers at work and things being awry in the world, made manifest in nature's reversal, the river's flow change posed problems, as it was a practical nightmare.

The Last Breath
The river ran backwards on the day the Queen vanished. They say the gods abandoned the woods that day, and everything became twisted. The birds ceased to sing, their calls warping into screams. Animals wept, and flowers turned black. The earth itself soured, and soil started to bleed.

Xena the Warrior Princess and Buffy the Vampire Slayer Crossover Idea
In this article I will talk about my idea for a Xena the Warrior Princess and Buffy the Vampire crossover. I will also talk a bit about other shows at the end. It's best to keep both Xena and Buffy in separate universes instead of the same universe but at different points in the timeline. Xena is mentioned in both Buffy and Angel, so my idea is that all these stories exist in some universe. When they contradict it's because they are in separate universes and creative types are about to see through their imaginations differing universes such as Buffy, Xena, Aliens and so forth. The same for video games such as Elden Ring, Super Mario Brothers, and such. The actors in these stories are just taking place of the actual people that existed in those universes. Dreams and such are also separate universes. Please note I am not saying this is real, because it's not but to me it's just fun to think about it.

Lifeblood. Runner-Up in Fantasy Prologue II Challenge.
The river ran backwards on the day the Queen vanished. The people of Porto Vera noticed immediately, of course. How could they not? The River Valas, as it was called in the ancient tongue, ran straight through the city like a spiderweb, splitting off into a thousand canals that criss-crossed the many districts of regal Porto Vera.

Shadows of Ambition
The office buzzed under the hum of fluorescent lights, desks dotted with papers, and keyboards tapping in a rhythm that spelled productivity. At Apex Corporation, the competition wasn’t confined to the boardroom—it seeped into every conversation, every task, and every glance exchanged. This was where Daniel and Monica worked, though "worked" was too sterile a term for the covert battles they fought daily.

Loyalty
The river ran backwards on the day the queen vanished. Misty Teague was frogging in the water and making quite a splash when the current reversed and swept her off her feet. Were it not for her most loyal mutt, Lion, gripping her calico dress stalwartly between his teeth, ever careful not to allow those canines to graze the skin of his small mistress, she would surely have been lost downstream, and swiftly.
