Granite
There weren't always dragons in the Valley. The first sight of them came when a meteor crashed through the sky and landed deep into the Needwood. Many of us remember that night. King Rhykhan and queen Vilda had given birth to their firstborn, prince Borodrin. Preparations for the birth were started months before, and a great celebration was in place. Excitement gathered for weeks until finally it was announced that the boy was born healthy and well. Food and ale was distributed endlessly. Many tents had been set up for games and oddities. More than anything else, we danced and we sang.

The Guardian
There weren't always dragons in the valley. When we arrived, the land was a barren wasteland. But it was Baloryx who restored order. She breathed into the stream's crevice, and I watched the water slowly seep to the surface, gurgling to life. Little green sprouts poked through the dry, cracked soil and quickly covered the valley floor with lush vegetation. While wildflowers traced her path.

Hatchling
"There weren't always dragons in the Valley." Nix said in a low haunting voice. Liam's brown eyes grew wide as he leaned closer to his sister, hanging onto her every word. The rain pounded on the roof. Light danced through the room as the crackling fire roared. A mischievous smile crossed Nix's face. "That's right. They used to walk the streets, fly through the air…" she paused and leaned closer to her brother. "Devouring any little boy that didn't listen to his big sister."

The Valley of Dragons
There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. In fact, the valley was a wasteland until they arrived ten years ago. No one knew where they came from. One day, they just appeared and the next, the valley was turned into an oasis. There was a large lake with a waterfall near the far end. The middle was lush grass and forests. There were about twenty dragons living there.
