Chronicles of the Last Gardener: A Time-Travel Mission to Save the Green
The Last Gardener
The world had been a barren wasteland for as long as the last gardener could remember. The once lush forests and vibrant gardens had been reduced to a lifeless expanse of ash and dust. The few survivors of the catastrophe had long given up on ever seeing a living plant again, but the last gardener still held on to the hope that one day he could bring back nature.
As he trudged through the scorched earth, he noticed a flash of green out of the corner of his eye. He couldn't believe his eyes; was it possible that a plant was growing again? His heart racing with excitement, he rushed over to it and carefully examined the leaves and stem. It was alive! But how could this be possible?
As he pondered this mysterious occurrence, he suddenly heard a strange whirring noise coming from behind him. He turned around to find a strange contraption materializing out of thin air. The machine was like nothing he had ever seen before, with glowing panels and strange symbols etched into its surface. Out of the machine stepped a figure dressed in a strange, futuristic suit.
"Who are you?" the last gardener asked, his hand hovering over the garden tool he kept with him at all times.
The figure didn't reply at first, just studied the gardener with a detached curiosity. Then, with a sudden flash of recognition, he spoke. "You're the last gardener, aren't you?"
The gardener was taken aback. How did this stranger know who he was? "Who are you?" he repeated.
The figure stepped closer and placed a hand on the gardener's shoulder. "I am a time traveler, and I've come from the future to ask for your help."
