It is a universal language that transcends societal norms and expectations. So, with a heart filled with hope and a desire to share my feelings, I gathered the courage to confess my love to him. The anticipation weighed heavily on my chest. What if he didn't feel the same way? What if my vulnerability was met with rejection and ridicule? The insecurities threatened to drown my determination, but I reminded myself that love was worth the risk. Summoning every ounce of bravery, I poured my heart out to him, baring my soul in front of the one who held my affections.
