Adventure
Quest of the Lost Horizon
The Last Map The fire crackled low in the hearth as Professor Elandra Voss traced her fingers across the brittle parchment. The map before her was centuries old—its edges frayed, its ink faded by time. Most importantly, it showed something no other map did: an island far beyond the known seas, nestled in a corner where every modern cartographer simply wrote “Here be dragons.” Her heart pounded, not with fear, but with long-lost excitement. She had studied myths, chased legends, and endured ridicule from the academic elite. But this—this was her proof.

Whispers of the Forgotten
Echoes Beneath the Silence The wind moved strangely through the ruins of Vareth. Not with the sharp whistle of winter or the warm sigh of summer, but with a hushed, almost reverent tone—like it feared to speak too loudly. Moss-covered stones, shattered archways, and broken spires stood as solemn witnesses to a world long gone. Nature had reclaimed what man had forsaken, but something else lingered—something older than the forest and darker than the shadowed skies above.

No Signal, No Mercy
Crash site Silence The sky was wrong. Color bled from it in purples and ash-blue streaks, pulsing like bruises across the heavens. Captain Mira Lorne crawled from the wreckage of the Odyssey-6, her suit sparking at the seams, air hissing from a fracture near her left side. The emergency oxygen reserves flickered to life, and she sat in silence amid the twisted metal and scorched soil of an alien world. Her coms buzzed static. No signal. She tapped the controls again. Nothing.

Breath Between Battles
The Sky That Burned The sky was always red now. Not the romantic, dreamy kind of red. This was ash and fire, smeared across the heavens like the war itself had climbed into the sky and painted its anger there. Everything was scorched. The city, once alive with neon lights and laughter, was now just bones—steel and concrete twisted into broken silhouettes. And in the middle of that shattered world, we found each other.

Stuff of Books
Ryan made his way across the commons. On the far side of the campus was a small independent bookstore, where he spent most of his time, aside from eating near the cafeteria. He wasn't enrolled in the school, despite the owner's urgings. On this day, the wind was especially strong. As he walked, the gusts whipped around him like a foreboding force—a warning he chose to ignore. He was running later than usual, and he knew his boss would likely scold him for it. Which made him more anxious than normal.

Fleeing Fate
Brown, his eyes were the color of mud. There was nothing special about them. They lightened considerably when he came in contact with his daemon kin. They almost glowed, but with the color of melted chocolate. It was like a shock to his system. His hand was not singed from the flames that covered the animal's body. His fingers felt tingly after he had been thrown back hard enough to land on top of Shadow. He used his hands to pull himself upright. As he did he used the wolf's body as leverage without thinking. There wasn't too much time to marvel at what occurred. Ryan heard Agnes screaming outside of the cabin. He had not planned to be tossed through a wall. It caused his body to ache all over. "We better get moving!" His companion warned him. "Come on, Ryan, move faster!"

You Think You're Tough?
Once upon a-um, now, there lived a "rooster" named Rosie. "He" was actually a hen, but she liked to pretend that she was a rooster. One day, Rosie left to go get her daughter and other friend (her friend's name was Chloe) some food. (they adopted that daughter by the way. she was an orphan) Her friend also thought she was a rooster, that's why they were such great friends! So, anyway, Rosie found a small bag of chicken food for her family. "Oh, what luck! This definitely isn't suspicious that someone would leave this out inside of something that looks like a trap at all! Totally not suspicious!" Rosie thought. So she picked up the bag and "BOOM!" the trap closed and Rosie was trapped! (By the way, the trap wasn't made out of metal it was cardboard ask me how it works in the comments!) Then, Rosie heard Chloe and her "daughter", Elliebelle (idk what to name her lol) screaming! "DOOOOOOGGGGGGG!!!!" Screamed Chloe. Rosie didn't know what to do! She was trapped! But then she saw the dog carrying away Elliebelle and she got so mad that she TORE THROUGH THE CAGE and ran at the dog screaming: "GETAWAYFROMMYFAMILYYOUTERRIBLECREATURE!!!!!" But to the dog it just sounded like: "PUCKPUCK PUUUCCCCKKK!!! CLUUCCCKK!!!" Because he didn't speak chicken language. So Rosie PECKED HIM ON THE NOSE AND.... Asked him "Could you please not eat us?" And the dog "okay sorry I'll go eat another chicken." and then Rosie said "thanks." and then the dog walked away because he was also scared of Rosie because she put on make-up (Chicken make-up XD) so she looked like a rooster. And then Rosie and her family were happy and then Rosie got the bag of chicken food and they ate it and then they were happy.
