As they walked, they noticed that the jungle seemed to be thinning out, and the trees were becoming more spaced out. They walked for several more hours until they came across a small village. The village was unlike anything they had ever seen before. It was made entirely of wood, and the houses were built in a circular pattern around a central area. The villagers seemed friendly enough, but they spoke a language that the survivors could not understand. The group was relieved to have found people and approached the villagers cautiously.
