The Fast and The Fabulous

Greg Hopkins flew down the road in his black 2006 Ford GT at over 300 miles per hour. He would have to slow down, but as long as he had a straight path, he would not allow the cops to catch him. He had just stolen the latest addition to his art collection. A priceless, previously unknown, painting by Gilbert Stuart. This would be his 10th in the last 3 years.

Hopkins always got away undetected, but this time the police were waiting for him. They knew he couldn’t resist such a treasure. But he was on to them as well.

As he continued, a fork in the road was getting closer. He slowed down and made a slight left while not leaving any skid marks. There were already skid marks on the right path. The cops followed the marks.

The deception did not last long, and they were soon on his trail again. He knew they would. He was counting on it. He slowed down some more and took a sharp turn under the First Street Bridge. He turned down a maintenance tunnel while another black 2006 Ford GT was waiting. It drove off and the police followed it.
